SPRAY PAINTED BASSES, let's see 'em

My first all ReRanch project (sand sealer, primer, black, & clear). Man that stuff is a treat to use straight from the can. Goes on like gel!:

This is the franken p(iet) bass that i did in high school. Its back at my parents now, or else i'd take a better picture. Its 5 layers of krylon: first layer was black, then i taped off each color separately. I have two necks for it, a maple fretted neck, and a rosewood fretless neck with matching headstock.

Bringing back the thread. Im refinishing the body for my 81 BB400. The body did have a transparent amber finish on it which looked aweful because the body was 4 piece without matching grain or color. Pics will be up within a few hours.

I decided to go with bahama blue krylon. Im not sure why but im partial to blue and green.

The only thign im not sure about is whether or not i should clear coat it. I have the clear just sitting around.
