SPRAY PAINTED BASSES, let's see 'em

Okay, I'm bumping this thread for reference, but I do have a couple of questions.

I've just finished the sanding portion of my project. What are the next steps? I plan on using Duplicolor (acrylic, yes?)/spray lacquer (black can, yes?), because I am cheap, and it seems like it will do the trick.

Could someone spell out the next couple of steps from sanded hunk of wood? Things like grain fillers, sanding between coats, drying times, etc?

I'm a big fan of spraying on the primer (quite a few coats) and sanding it down to a very fine grit once dry.

But make sure whatever primer you use is compatible with the lacquer... I made that mistake once (oops!)
