Well we survived and a good time was had by all! It was a challenging room: hollow (and shallow) stage, hollow rear wall and the main portion of the room was under an all glass portico. I set my rig up as a side fill and had to only use my Walkabout because the BE coupled with the stage and just flooded the room with mud. We also had to put the monitors on the floor below the stage due to space limitations. Terrible photo as we were just getting things set up. Anyway, good times and they raised some good $.

St. Patty’s Day gigs

Showed up at a country club Saturday, small but hollow room. Sound guy was competent but didn’t get heads up on the specs, so he showed up with cannons (subs and line arrays) to support our acoustic act. First time I’ve played with earplugs in years.
Played a few in my time, they were all a good time, but as it's one of the two amateur nights of the year I avoid being out now.
Played in a heated tent at a bar/restaurant in Montclair NJ. There was a mix of ages but it tended to be 40+. Three sets starting around 7-11:15. It was pretty crowded, especially the second set, but started to thin out by the third.
