no worries. if u need the choke let me know. Actually, I do have a spare Jcm800 choke that I pulled off an old build. Its a Hammond Jcm800 clone choke. Leads were cut but you can extend them. I can sell it for 15$ + ship to you.

It's defiantly not bad, very listenable but not something that floors me. I bet it's super fun to play though. I'd like to listen to it through real speakers so I can actually hear the individual parts.

Laz, if your drummer is a monster and works well in the studio, just go in and record all the drum tracks and only do scratch guitar and bass tracks (just bring your instruments and pedalboards, use whatever they have or run direct, just play for timing). Then save up and go back for each additional part (or go somewhere else...or do it yourself) and again to mix and again to master. You'll get a quality product that way. At the very least just get set up for scratch tracks and drum recording and do as many as he's able. I've done this with my own recordings, sometimes years apart. I still have 3 tracks of drums and scratch guitar on some southern rock songs, from 2009 I think, waiting for me to do something with them. Nothing is more stressful for an engineer and disappointing for a band as trying to cram a lot of recording into one day.

Seems to be the general consensus that we're not really ready to record an album just because we've got 40 min of material. Going to use the $500 credit to try to bang out 2 or 3 songs, have them mastered somewhere cheaper, and focus on continuing to write and preparing for the first show.

Simply put after closer inspection and from sending pics to Jason Lollar himself its not a lollar. Case and candy were all there but the pickup must be what ever came out of the bass someone put that lollar in. I should of dug a little deeper or been more patient. Rookie mistake :( The ad said "new old stock" and "never installed" but it clearly had been in something. I seen the marks on the covers from the screws. If I don't hear from the people I purchased it from by tomorrow, I'm going to call. And if that doesn't pan out, I'll open a Paypal dispute.
