It hasn't even been a week since I put in the order for mine, and I'm already too excited.
Think Geoff ended up waiting about 4 1/2 months, and if mine ships out this week which I think it will, my wait time was around 4 months. Pretty solid turnaround.
Not on the epic scale of you guys, but I put in for a custom G&L SB-1.
Awesome! What specs did you choose that you ordered one through a dealer? Please tell me it involves a bowling ball finish

A few weeks ago I got hooked up with a Mesa rep to try the new Strategy and Prodigy amps...not sure anyone here has tried one, but I really loved the Strategy. 8 KT88's at 465 watts. You can also run it on 4 powertubes for 250, or 2 power tubes at 125 watts...I just might be interested in one of these

No bowling ball swirl, but it is GREEN.
Options: Margarita green frost, ebony fret board, black colored headstock, #12 neck (1 5/8" nut, 12" radius), quartersawn neck wood, black 3-ply guard, clear gloss neck finish.
It was inspired by Darryl Jenifer's green monster to a degree.

Yeah he quoted me at 18 weeks. Which would put it right around August, so yeah stoked.
I liked the germanium setting, switch on lo, fuzz at 1-2 o'clock, tone 8 o'clock high at noon.
Haha. Nope. Used them a year or two but went back to d'addario. The blue steels broke every now and again. Thought it was just me. Never broke a d'addario string. And since I like strings that are 2-3 months old the price is right.

Sounds awesome man. I had a green SB-2 but I doubt it was what they call margarita green frost. More of a reefer green haha.
I wish they had more greens, but they only have two. The one I got is like lime green.
Are you getting black hardware to go with the ebony board and black painted headstock? I like that green, btw.

Here is my old SB-2. Wish I still had it. Had one of the best finishes of any bass I've ever owned. I guess this would be like an Emerald Sparkle Green?

Well it will give me:
ART pro channel II + Crest ProLite 3.0 -> fEARful 1515/66/1

Then I just have to pick with what, and how badly to hurt people.
