What program are you using to record? Sample and bit rate? usually you rop your buffer settings to track, and raise them back up to mix

Slow day at work, so I made a Precision body template out of some 1/4" MDF. Kind of quick and sloppy, the inside radius of the horns was a b*tch, but good enough I think. If I can find the time I think I'm going to try building a body out of pine or fir or whatever I have enough scrap of laying around. Just to do it, although it might make for a good pickup configuration/position tester. I have some ideas for that.

Well...I'm using either Studio One, Reaper, Audacity or Live. None of them do everything I need.

I have a free version of Amplitube 3 and have been trying a demo version of Guitar Rig. Studio One comes with a decent amp plugin.

I don't want to buy a full software package until I know exactly what functionality I need.

I picked up a simple Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 and it really sounds great. Right now I'm splitting the guitar signal and I'm monitoring with a cheap crate combo. For play back I'm using an amp plugin through some budget Alesis monitors.

I'm just trying to record our songs to a click for our drummer to program to. Our songs shift tempos 4 or 5 times per song.

I'm actually trying to write like that for a side project and I honestly don't know how. Everything I right is always super linear. The end of my songs are so far from the beginnings that I couldn't bring it back around even if I wanted to.

This was a more classic/thrash metal band so that style of writing fit more.maybe start with a verse get your pattern set.add a chorus then fit the music around it.thats what worked for me but i did just knock out half assed songs towards the end heres the formula bam

Dj-ing for Houston roller derby tomorrow. My mp3 of dragonaut is corrupted. Noooooooooo! Help?

We have a gig on the 30th at superhappyfunland. It's been dubbed the unicorn mosh party. Might play for the other bands. Might play for 100 people. Could go either way.

May 18th playing halftime for Houston roller derby. Bayou music center. 2000 people. Nbd
