hmm, not a lot of his amps are super vintage or anything. He does have a great condition V4b with the metal knobs. Looked like it was brand new externally. The studio gear might have been more impressive to be honest.

Laz that's pretty lame of them to act like that. The Janitor summed it up nicely. I've seen a lot of bands at that level acting how they think big rocks stars are supposed to act like.
They're right about gear sharing though. If you're local you probably shouldn't ask to use the touring band's gear unless something breaks last minute.

Indeed. It's the other way around. If bands share gear, generally I've just seen the touring band use some of the local band's gear (sometimes the drum kit or the cabs).

DBD, do you have any Epi Tbirds or anyone else with EPI Tbirds in the house, do you have any interest in some chrome covers for them. I bought that damn set off Ebay and they don't fit on the American TBird pups, covers are too small, and guessing they might fit on the Epi ones if they are different sized than the American ones. Anyway I am probably going to list them in the classifieds but rather doomer discount them if someone wanted to get their chrome cover on! It's these.

Man no need to spend the money but there's a Pelham blue epi tbird for $200 obo in town and it'd be smashing with chrome covers.

Haha, maybe... hard for me to say, because using that Tech 21 Landmark 300 was a new experience as well. All I know is I couldn't feel my notes like I normally can. Felt like my tone was kind of thin and sterile. I don't know if FoF noticed, but after he got off stage helping me dial in a tone, I turned both the volume and bass knobs up 25% haha. NEEDS MORE BASS.

I don't mean to sound like a snob though. It was very convenient and helpful that FoF let me use his amp and my bass sounded fine.
