The faital actually has more true high end than the 3015.

I am really starting to think I will never need another cab with the Bassic Faital. Of course is it stellar on bass but I am so impressed with it on guitar. I just want to add a head that does Fender clean tones or combo I can run to the Bassic for guitar. Been eyeballing those old Lab Series heads and combos, solid state but man they do the Fender tone.

Satyrnine, buy my Peavey!!!

I will not stop my spamming of the S/D thread until someone buys this bass!!

Sorry Kawai, killer bass, just not my style. Thanks though!

Loved my Valve Junior enough to buy anothe bigger tube amp in less than a week.

I've got a VJ too, and modded the bajeezus out of it. New Output Tranny, master volume, bigger cathode bypass caps, ~5x more B+ filtering, changed up the input section, "More" switch, and replaced caps with Orange Drops. The "more" switch kind of switches between bass and guitar mode. The new OT (Hammond 125ese I think) makes it sound surprisingly great with bass.

nice. im also using a peavey guitar amp but got the ValveKing since I prefer 6L6 tubes. there is a forum for modding the VK such as a Mesa mod but they are for the gain channel. I only use the clean channel and it sounds great to me as is. only thing I did take from the forum was the dummy jack in the input 1 trick. amazingly it really makes a big difference

I had a 50w VK and did the Mesa Mod. Was great! And yes, dummy jack makes a huge diff! Great little amp. Sold it only because I needed some quick cash for rent one month, way back when. Regret it still.

Julien how about one of the Peavey Classics like Bryce has?

Did someone say Peavey Classic?

Is the Black Arts LSTR good for bass or is that mainly a guitar pedal?

the pharoah sounded horrendous with my rig, and from what im told is alot of his pedals are geared towards guitar. but it sputtered horribly and could not take any low end without doing lots bad swell kinda stuff.

you should try one of the musket fuzzes or anything by blackout effectors, seems like his fuzzes are really good with bass.

Agreed, the Musket is a super cool muff fuzz.

I'm also super fond of the fuzzrocious grey stache. I've been messing around with mine and the EGC at home and have gotten some huge gnarly tones with it.

i had the same experience with the Pharaoh. I tried 2 of them. However it seems to be working out well for Joe. so i think it really depends on the bass.
