Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread 29: "Please Huff Responsibly"

Corey Y said:
Short of it being broken in half, hard to complain for that price. You could always sand it down, buff it, prime and paint it. If you really wanted to.

Got any Green left? Paint it to match.

Just played my V4 for an hour and a half. It was glorious!

Once you buy and sell as much stuff as the rest of us you'll eventually just kind of know how much shipping costs for stuff. If it is a low cost budget bass like something that's $250 you can pack it all up and ask for the buyers zip and get a quote online. If its something more expensive like an $800 I just factor $40-$50 into my asking price and give a $xxx shipped number for simplicity.

Well the Concert Bass survived the cross country trek and its awesome! Here's a photo of the entire rig

For now the ATK has DR DDT .125, .105, .85, .65, but I've got some Circle K's that I ordered that should be here soon. Gauges on those are .150, .112, .082, .061.

For the EQ settings, are you talking about on the bass itself? I prefer to crank the bass, keep the mids around half way and just a pinch of treble on the third pickup setting. Sounds massive with the Oxfuzz.
