Yup, everything Laz said. Thing will take punishment for hours on end and barely gets warm. Great clean tone and takes dirt very well.

Couple friends of ours that are in bands (Ozenza &Onn) stopped in and watched our set at the practice spot. The one dude says "that massive tone comes outta that little thing?!" He couldn't believe it when I told him it was 1000 watts and 15 pounds!

Hi y'all, been a few days since I came by here. Work's been pickin up lately.

So this thread is largely responsible for me convincing myself I need a real smart phone + data plan, and I got one yesterday. All the Youtube / Flickr / Imgur / Soundcloud / Bandcamp links that get thrown up I miss out on due to work filters, no more! I have to figure out how to use Droid and how to convert contacts over to my new phone, but hopefully I'll be able to add more constructive conversation, rather than just spamming bullsh1t like I normally do.

By the way, I've been randomly Facebook friendin alot of you guys, if you get a add request from bearded dude drinking a tiny cocktail out of a straw, that would be me.

Not Doom but still awesome..........
I went out and saw Godspeed You! Black Emperor last night. Holy sh!t they were amazing! To be honest I`ve had a hard time getting into some of their stuff. But seeing them live blew me away. They had 3 guitarist,2 drummers and 2 bass players. The one bassist would trade back and forth between using a Music Man and a upright bass.

The amount of pedals used onstage was boner inspiring too. I`ve never witnessed so much delay and sustain in one place. It was an experience.

Oh hell yeah! I saw them back in 2000-1, something like that, one of the best shows I've ever seen. Top 3 for sure. The new album is downright amazing.

A GFS ray pickup, with 1 meg or 500k audio pots in a P bass would be pretty nifty, do it like the G&L and get a passive/active switch.

You sir are a genius..... a mole would fit perfectly on my board and would accomplish my goal, my only concern is the 200-400hz center frequency, dunno if that is low enough.

Yeah i was thinking of throwing a ray pickup in the neck position of the p-bass, I was actually thinking of going EMG so i can keep the active preamp I have, and then add on the BTC for 2 band e3q control. But I have more pressing needs.... like my 1x18 cab....

Love me some cattle decap, I played a show with them in baltimore a few years ago when i was playing drums in Palkoski, Travis is a hella nice dude and has a sick set of pipes, and the noise **** he does during the live show is really cool, especially for a band in that genre. The rest of the band are insanely talented, the guitarist and drummer especially.

Windhand! Yes!!! Love them theyre an amazing mix of EW meets Jefferson Airplane, soooo psychedlic live. Dorthia is an amazing frontman / frontlady. Aren't some of the members also in Coliseum?

I won't be getting a 7-pro, I have a nice preamp, but I'm just looking at a 1000W class D power amp. I was leery of class D for bass, but I'm exposed to a lot of the newer micro amps at work and a lot of them sound damn good. The constant thermal protection shutdowns from the p.o.s. power amp I bought pushed me over the edge. Nothing like rocking the **** out, nailing a song and having your amp cut out for 10-15 seconds. Everyone else stops and looks at you. Unacceptable.

Yeah, me too. First album, Come my Fanatics and Dopethrone are the **** with a capital S. Let Us Pray was decent, then I really don't care after that.

I saw those guys w/ Unearthly Trance and Sons of Otis on the Let Us Pray tour. Jus was an over-the-top assbag. I talked to him for a minute and all he did was bitch, bitch, bitch. "No one's coming to our shows, the drives between gigs are too long, your venue sucks and they don't even have an Electric Wizard poster up"

I really lost a lot of respect after that.
