Floor is great, first Torche album I'm kind of ambivalent about, In Return is massive and stupidly heavy. I didn't like Meanderthal at first but it's grown on me quite a bit. Newer stuff is ok, but nothing touches In Return.

I got into them w/ the come my fanatics/first album double disc package. Friends and I were anxiously awaiting Dopethrone before its release, 3 of us bought it the day it came out, completely blown away. It was very original and heavy at the time. Nostalgia for those albums for sure.

the first album I never really dug, quite traditional in all the senses of that word. Not sure how they went from that to Come My Fanatics. Before they reissued Dopethrone/Com My Fanatics on vinyl I payed like $60 for Dopethrone and a little over $100 for Come My Fanatics on Ebay auctions. Killer **** all around. My favorite song is probably Son of Nothing between both albums.

Tarpit Carnivore is intensely heavy song, i used to play it on my old headphones before they died, nearly full on the ipod, you can feel the drivers vibrate on my ears, wicked glorious.

I can listen to their stuff, but it's not my favorite. The two new songs they played I liked a lot. However, I thought they were pretty boring live. I guess its hard to follow a band like Kvelertak, unless you are Converge ;)

there is suppose to be a branded TB tapatalk free app soon...but apparently not yet.

the paid app is the tapatalk that accesses a bunch of forums, and is all that is out at the moment until the branded version is ready.

I like that this genre is one of the few that can use low tunings to good effect, but I also think its because the actual sound coming out of my Drop B tuned rig is 90% harmonic overtones and 10% fundamental bass. I wouldn't play in low tunings if I wanted to do like Jauqo XII or something and get a true clean low F# and craziness like that. I like fuzzy overtones, don't mind em one bit.

Gotcha, that's gotta be like a .180 string or something ridiculous.

Everything is better at high volumes. :D
