Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread Part 28: Chicken Pot Pie

Sounds good then, just got me a bit worried because your passive jazz demo suggests it was a bad decision in the info pane.

oh...that.
yeah, well I will forever hate fender for that. my first one died at just about a year old and they said it wasn't covered cos (get this) it "wasn't an electronics item" but was instead "an accessory" so it didn't have the warranty time like every other piece of gear they sell with a pcb or a battery in it.. so I was a bit of a weenie with the CS guy and forwarded my demo links that at the time we're the second highest viewed sublime video and told em that it they we're seriously gonna do that then I would amend my videos as such. hell, I had like 20 sides send me messages saying they bought one cos of my demo.. so fender just shot themselves in the foot. they ignored me then, so I amended the videos and it's stayed.

in the meantime I had picked up another used one and found a guy who could remake the cracked pcb.

Once a company gets so big they can do some dick things and get away with it.

Just saw your other video doing the shoot out with it and the blue beard etc. Might sell my muff or this to fund towards a BB and shoot out again.

I'm thinking a booster circuit like a rangemaster, but with a varitable eq boost would be nice on the valve jr. or other small amp. give it a edge without a pedal. The head seems kinda big for the size of the amp.

i have a 100w head with 2x KT88s that is being modded to crank out approx 140-160w at peak.. hopefully it will keep up with the AD200B i borrow sometimes! i'll keep an eye out for the 200 watters you guys mentioned and hope they pop up cheap. i wish to hell i could afford a matamp or electric or green (or preferably, DUNWICH!) right now.

Thanks Joe, I'm always lurking. For some reason, middle schools have TB blocked, so I'm only using my phone, which is a pain in the balls to post from.

Red Fang/Black Tusk- probably? it really depends on the $ flow. I'm more interested in setting up some shows w/ Still Valley!

We were all planning to see HoF in December as a band. So, we'll definitely be at that one.

As for playing, shouldn't be long now. My drummer said anytime we want to do Zodiac or the Triple Nickel, that show happens. Maybe get a few bands together and take it over for a night.

But, drummer and I both agree, we need a few more practices to get stuff nice and tight. Nothing like hitting the stage and stinking up the first show. I want to set the bar high on our first time out. But yeah, we can definitely get the I-25 connected :D
