No clue, I'm far enough away from getting one that I can make it up and try Laz's dually, and Beebassdudes 6x12s and 4x15s, and find an 8x10 to push it through as well.
I mean I intended to bust the thing up and part out the tubes I didn't need for myself, and play around with the amp parts inside, and again sell what I didn't want.

I took mine into the tech one day,went in a blown up 200 watt amp,came out a fully functional 230 watt amp.Stoked!
Even if I could afford to buy an electric,or matamp,or Dunwich amp,getting over here would just be ridiculous on the bank account.
Holden 100 - old school version of a Wasp before they had them make them over *in Aus. The transformers are oversized as all hell, so it should crank out the volume soon.
Shipping for a 200 watter might not be absolutely horrendous. I scored a $500 deal getting the 215 over here, so an amp head is surely much easier at 20-30kgs and smaller.
Yea, these organs come up by the minute, usually under $100 or free.
I'd get one to play, but between my student apartment and not being home, it's not gonna get any play time.
I figure taking one apart might net me a bit of cash, as I save towards a new amp.

Yea, only reason I'd get it is if I knew I could run through a bunch of those 12a*7 variants, but they are used not NOS, so not sure.
just got back from weedeater. dixie's top cab is definitely a mesa road ready 2x15. not sure what his bottom one was. he also had a Badass bridge on his squire.
Does he run any pedals or is that just the Concert cranked? If its just the Concert, ooooooooooooooo, I cant wait for that power supply.

I decided to resurrect my old solo stoner rock project that I tried to get going 7 years ago (yikes). I already put an ad up on CL over the weekend, absolutely no bites yet, but I'm going to start working on new songs and hopefully get some material together and ready to go. If nothing materializes as far as getting a band together goes, I'll do it as a recording project and borrow or hire a drummer as necessary. Started working on some riffs tonight, got a couple rough parts cobbled together. I wanted to try out the Stingray fingerstyle for something like this anyway, not disappointed with the results.

When I'm doing stuff at home I just record direct. Straight in to one of the 1/4" instrument inputs on the front of my interface. Then I usually do a mix of the pedal and amp sims bundled with Logic, an impulse for the cab and then do a quick and dirty mix and master. Sometimes if I'm feeling fancy I will actually use a DI/Line Out on an amp or use a tube amp into my Hot Plate, then run the Line Out into the interface and go from there. That has a pretty nice result. When I'm actually recording something for a band, mine or another, I put all my crap in a rack and go record elsewhere, then mix at home. I've done a lot of tests and experiments figuring out how to get sounds I like recording direct. I don't even use the best ways most of the time, because even those require a certain amount of effort, so I just get close enough to get the idea across.
All I did on the bass was run in direct from the bass, then use an overdrive pedal sim with the gain all the way down into a "transparent preamp" sim, EQ'd a bit to taste, into an impulse of an SVT 810 with an MD421 against the grill on center. A little compression, no extra EQ. I played around with goosing up the high end a little, it got a lot of sizzle pretty fast, but if I don't boost the highs at the amp end or in mixing, it's not harsh with everything at full on the bass.
