It looks like a pedal that would work good for both guitar and bass, which is always a priority for me.
Might as well engage some conversation: what are your favorite pedals that shine great on both bass AND guitar?
I find the Rat too thin and ice-picky with my Tele, but awesome for low-drive bass. The Grey Stache however turns into a guitar monster with a turn of the Tone knob. What are some of your favs?

Also...I got a new band that I'm so excited about. We've practiced once. Have maybe 1/2 a song but it's an idea for a band I've had for years. It was my dream team of people I've played with plus one last minute addition from a pretty cool dude.
I'm trying to get my head in the right mindset for writing 90's noise rock but everything that comes out is metal as ****.
On a side note. Asthma Castle being Asthma Castle has been writing some stuff that is way more metal then the EP would suggest. We put some stoner/doom throwbacks in there but the songs really have no genre limitations anymore.
I've actually been mocked for saying, "that is too metal" or, "that is too epic."
Got a kid coming in January and taking some time off from work/playing.
Life is good. I hope y'all is doing well.
I'll post again in a month or two.

Bluebeard, EQD Speaker Cranker, Boss Tremolo, E-H Nano Small Stone, Ibanez Weeping Demon junior, Sitori Sonics Bass Fuzz, and Foxrox Octron are the ones I have that play well with the long and short neck gitboxes!!!
Nick we gotta run your Ric through my Wizard Fuzz some time. I can't believe you haven't tried it out yet.
Maybe not technically treble boosters but I've used a Mojo Hand Cream Pie and also a Rothwell Atomic Boost to add some top end. Playing with my fingers I sometimes struggle with getting some nice bite.
I've always wanted to try the Analogman Beano Boost and the Arcane Analog pedals look interesting.
Just got the low down, through neck , replacement emg pups, replace tone an volume knob and the coil tapping switches have been removed considering they were for the original pickups, two stress crack in the finish, one were the neck meet the body and the other is from the cut away to the neck pickup. He said he'd send more photos soon.
Been dry for over two weeks and it's putting a serious hamper on my vinyl listening. I've got like 6 albums right now that I'm refusing to listen to until I get some green. :|

Youse guys should check out the Fairfield Accountant, it is a killer dirty boost masquerading as a compressor, and it will suit guitar and bass equally.
Right now the ones I have that work best with both are the Wizard Fuzz and Cthulhu Fuzz. They both sound great on guitar and great on bass. The Wizard Fuzz especially, because it's really versatile and I've been able to squeeze a lot of different sounds out of it in different setups. The DOD 250 has been one of my favorites with bass, but I never thought it was outstanding on guitar and it's still a narrow amount of usable bass tone. The RAT is one of those that just depends. I love it on guitar for certain things, love it on bass for certain things, but it can be fussy, because of the low cut that the standard ones generally have. There are a lot of classic and/or cheap pedals that are meant for guitar and work really well for bass, but not a lot that really blow my mind for both.
I've been using my bass setup lately for guitar and I dig it a ton. The Demon works awesomely with guitar, just jack that tone knob up and boost treble on the amp. Would like to add a light distortion to it....makes this bizzle creammmmmmy

I definitely want to try it out and see what that thing can do... did you replace the El Oso with it? I saw the first gig you played it at and it definitely sounded bad-A, seemed like maybe it clarified your tone (or whatever frequency of your tone sticks out) as I had no problems following your basslines. Whats your effect chain lookin like these days?

I found the Bright switch on the Acoustic 370 basically just turns it into a guitar amp... verrrrrrr nice
I reeeeeeally wanna try a Cthulu... I love simple pedals. Its pretty high gain though, right? I lose all my definition in my bass rig if I jack the sustain knobs, usually leave Tone/Sustain minimized and turn up volume appropriately. If its too fuzzy and loses definition then I'll just get lost in the mix.
