Speaking of endorsement, IF IF it were possible/or actually happened, Id totally have Peavey make me a Vulcan SS pre into a CL400 power section, the only kind of hybrid that matter.

It would at least be cool to be recongized by Peavey though for running all old stuff though, Id happily just take that much.

Well it is a grounding issue with the Jazzguarbird. If I touch the bridge or control plate it stops. Maybe I need to splay the bridge ground wire out more to make better contact with the bridge? Well not that many grounds to trouble shoot I suppose. Man I dig the sound of this bass with those Gibby TBird pups, when it is grounded that is LOL.

Right on! We got asked, but I can't really do weeknights, especially with only like three weeks to arrange time off for my wife and or babysitter. Especially being broke already, and probably making zero at the gig. Then trying to promote it. Two bands I'm friends with did take the gig though, so that's cool.

Man, did not see Eagle Claw on the invite for the party, that's awesome. Blue Oyster Cult and part of the modern incarnation of Skynyrd will be there as well. Should be a good time!

Happy page 1000, Original Doomstaz.

Woke up this morning to my dogs sounding like they were ravaging themselves. Turns out my guinea pigs chewed through the their enclosure and were running rampant in the backyard. Two of my dogs were trying to attack them while the other, the pack leader, was fighting them off and defending the pigs. She's the best thing since bread.

i'm assuming you don't have a basset hound to protect you in such harey situations

My new method of controlled burning the debris of my yard. Got it pretty big this evening, still hardly put a dent in what needs to go.

Funny that, my Peruvian mate came over a couple weeks ago and I showed him the pigs. I pointed at each pig (three of them) and proceeded to count "Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner". He dare not touch my piggles.

I don't think I could ever bring myself to eat a guinea pig and not just because I have them as pets. They are effectively rodents and something about eating rodents grosses me out - even rabbit. Might have something to do with the fact I worked in pest control briefly and got swarmed by filthy rats in an abandoned property and had to get an ugly tetanus shot.
Dad's eaten guinea pig while backpacking around South America but would never eat it again. We don't eat them in Uruguay but the more central South American countries love it.

BUT SERIOUSLY HOW COULD YOU EAT A FACE LIKE THIS?

I ate guinea pig (Cui, in Quechua) while I was in Ecuador. Didn't taste bad at all, they serve it fried, so the skin is all crispy. A lady at the next table was trying to get us to eat the head, as that was her favorite part. We declined to try it, then gave her all of our heads - she was so happy.

...and that's my story about eating guinea pigs for page 1000.

What were you doing there? My really good friend is Ecuadorian and always telling me funny stories of the ghetto stuff he lived through in his old town.

I'd eat a cui, or any mammal cooked properly. Fried works fine. Fish I don't eat.

I did eat part of a raunchy stingray in Malaysia though once.
