Thats one thing about VEGA that I love, we almost spend more time jamming than actually writting or practice old stuff. Someone will just play something random and one person jumps in and then all out 15-30 min jam on it. Then when it ends, we just stop and wave as the riff floats away, back into the Kosmic Kloud never to be riffed again, because 99% of the time we arent recording it. MAYBE one tiny part, if we remember it, will make it into a new song. Then well be like "oh we should probably play the song we were going to work on before that Kosmic nod took over...what were we working on?"

That sounds awesome. I would love to jam with people like that. Throw out a riff and see where it goes and tighten it down if you can remember it.

it's always been something I notice. I don't know why it just looks so different to me when you only use 3 fingers to fret and it just jumps out at me.

Oh man, does it really look weird? My pinky has almost zero control. I only use three fretting fingers.

Until I chopped off the end of my middle finger I only used three. The recovery process taught me to use more.
