Demeter has been sold and shipped to a guy in the canadian band deadly apples.

FedEx quoted me $71 last night so I told him and he paid me this morning and I go back to fedex and they say "more like $140 actually"... USPS did it for $60. I guess imma stick to the good ok' us snail mail from now on.

Yah definitely use usps. I shipped a pedal to canada through ups recently and the hit the guy with 60 dollars worth of tax on the other end. I learned to stick to usps when shipping north after that. That was after me paying 20 bucks for shipping too.

I feel really lucky to be able to use my employer's UPS account to ship stuff. The difference between quotes from the UPS store and what it actually costs me to ship through work is so large it's almost criminal.

usps to canada always. ups charges brokerage fees when going across borders. $60 even for a $10 item. FedEx is ok usually as well.

haven't changed my strings in 7 months. no wonder i was missing a bit of treble. gimme that zing back!

broke my stereo cable at the last gig. straight cables are a liability. does anyone know if you can get right angle TRS jacks?

scratch my question, totally found them. getting a cable made from a mic cable, should be much sturdier.

slow day at work, screwing around with pedalboard planner. the new series looks solid as hell.

i've worked out i can mount the following on the new nano+ out in April:

Cthulhu Fuzz
Bluebeard
Phase Wizard (single channel)
Korg Pitchblack
LPF-DI (mounted underneath)
CIOKS ADAM (mounted underneath)

and i'll have space to attach external XLR and TRS to the sides by using these (and a drill!):

Like i said, start saving your strings gentlemen. Ill pay $1 a string + shipping or for every 10 strings, you get a piece of jewelry and you pay shipping. Looking for bulk like 20+ string at a time.

I don't have any ready to go right now, but I will send you a mess of 37" strings eventually.
