Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Id totes rock that Rockmaster through the Dually for awesome LOUD grindy bass

What else this guy got? Can you possibly make a list? You may need to middle man something, ill make it worth your while.

Nothing tuxedo or very old. Ignoring non peavey items, it was all 12" based cabs one being the oversized 4x12 with top and bottom ports. A centurion III head, a lot of combos, mace was the most Interesting of them. He had the first peavey all tube combo too, pacer or encore, both were there. A vtm60, road master and a classic 400.

He quoted me a price on that classic 400 before meeting him and after, that goes to show he bases prices off how well he knows you as he went down a whole third of his asking price from our initial phone call, to when I was there in person.

I'll maintain contact, I actually already told him I had people aside from me interested in peavey gear, mentioned tuxedo (had to show him your pics), older solid state, vulcan, or just great old heads.

They seriously need to get someone that has a basic grasp of spelling to write their copy. Credibility goes out the window when there's half a dozen spelling errors in one paragraph.

Maybe I do want the best slop tone

The price he offered me is super tempting. However it's huge, like beyond weight, it just takes up a massive amount of space.

That combined with my current amps (series 400, g40v, rockmaster, harmless) just kind of makes it hard to justify. I already want a class D power amp for the mostly harmless, and if I get that, how will I ever convince myself I need an amp that weighs over half of me.

Can the rockmaster tranny be tapped for an 8ohm load? That would be so very awesome.
