Just shipped my pine P bass body off to get painted, finally. Hopefully the next time I make something, it doesn't take me 2 years to finish it haha.

I had my Chunk Systems Brown Dog listed, got two offers, decided to keep it. Was also in talks with @mc_muench about selling my Megalith, decided to keep that, too. I'm a hoarder.
Oh and been Great Lake swimming since they just got mentioned. Very good stuff
I'm back! You joined this thread like right as I got employed. I was a full time contributer before now.

It sits dormant until something sells and it's worth fixing if it even is. Those things have high tension and it's been de bridged and sitting without a truss rod God knows how long. Good news is I still live where I went to school and the music department has an incredible music repair place aparently open to the public.
Doing some guitar & bass tracking tomorrow. Need to find some sap to help me get the 3620 in the basement...![]()
Ill come and help you tonight in trade for the Megalith...
Tight. Making me rethink ditching my VI with tin can rattle bridge, but I also wasn't keen on the pup selectors; I kept bumping them. Maybe a PS VI with selector blade would suit better.
You know its an oddball instrument. You cant play it exactly like its a bass nor as a guitar, it's its own thing. How did you play it in MDT? I dont think ill be using it in VEGA or GH but in a future noisy fuzzy heavy pop band for sure.
That ad will read guitar player must have olympic white jazzmaster or jaguar to match my bass VI...
I played with my fingers always.
You mean on a Bass VI?
Did you play with fingers similarly to how you would on a 4-banger, or more like fingerpicking a guitar?
I finger pick mine more like a guitar, a lot of thumb. I actually dont really use a pick anymore, bass/guitar/VI, i just use my nail while holding an imaginary pick.
Its improved my 4 string greatly as well.
