Whiskey makes me feel like a superhero, I love it.

In other news, neurotic Chicago guitar player quit, but we have a lead in a guy that's playing guitar in a Zapppa cover band. Also, a fried of the drummer is interested, so hopefully a dual guitar doomsludge band is in the near future.

Yea my primary purpose is sometimes my friend comes by after 10pm and I don't want to play super loud and push my luck even though my neighbors are louder than me. Also makes the setup small enough to play in front of the TV lol

Back from the bar, met up with my old drummer. I was offered the spot to play bass with his rock band. The guitarist is very talented, as is the singer-keyboard player, add that to a badass drummer and I can't really refuse.

I'm close. Just need a little more so I don't have for put any of this mistake on a CC. Sure the feds have a payment plan... but eith teh compounding interest even they say it's a bad deal, up front. You guys haven't seen the last of me.

I just sold off the most visually beautiful rig Ive ever had. My guitarist just bought my Fender Superbassman and the matching 610 from me for a band he plays bass in... I feel bittersweet.

now wait.. I still have a fender 300 pro with and 810 AND a 300 pro with a 610... just didnt need the super bassman anymore..or, as much as I needed $2k

bullet points:

@mc_muench is seriously giving me GAS for a Bass VI. not that i'd even use it in a band but still, the instrument intrigues me.

that new Bareface vintage 210 is giving me GAS for my regular rock band.

i am now deeply, yet again considering a GT200 (or Dunwich if i can convince him to let me bother him) to replace my older Marshall voiced heads. $$$$$$$

patiently awaiting my RAT King. my "more stoner, less doom" board will go mono rick -> RAT King -> mini Crybaby -> TU-3, while the "more doom, less stoner" board will continue with the parallel bluebeard/cthulhu. might add the mini mu back in also.

i've been sick as hell the past few days and have been demolishing video games. over the past few weeks i've beaten saints row 1, 2, 3, 4 and GooH, Far Cry 2 and 3, Bioshock Infinite, and starting a playthrough of Mass Effect 2 and 3 with my girlfriend. plus i am about halfway through Bioshock 1 for the first time - Bioshock 2 on standby. then i'll stop and not play games for like 6 months.
