Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Ooh the geddy might sell too. That's the dano I'll be getting. 90's 1st reissue '56 U2 MIK Nifty Aqua finish.

Oh man @askrere that is a sweet sweet looking guitar. I love that seafoamy kind of colour, just conjures up images of classic laid-back beach culture.

Yea as says it was bought new for a wife who never learned. Best looking and cheapest dano locally listed. I intend to sitar it, but I'll have some time before I buy those pricey bits of hardware to play it normally. Twang and Kerrang to come!

Ok I'm on the fence... Take my rig to the studio or just go direct from the board with BDDI or VT-RM for amp sim? Guess I need to experiment a little at the house first and decide.

Take the whole rig. Sansamp is going to be kind of limited in what it can do. You want options, multiple different-sounding tracks to blend, one clean, one dirty (at least one of each). Clean tracks can also be used for re-amping with different amps, amp settings, etc. In short, bring as much stuff as possible, make the guy doing the recording mic your cab!
