as a clean DI/Preamp it works very well. I wasn't a fan of the distortion although i must admit the distortion sounded a lot better in the band mix than solo.

In regards to muffs, what exactly is a tone bypass? What does it do?

Hey I'm just curious if anyone has tried that new Boss BB-1X bass driver for doom yet and if there's any thoughts they'd wish to share on it. I like the fact that it has a blend built in and the new Boss guitar distortions in that new distortion line are pretty good.

Sounds awesome for clean distortion is OK typical SVT sound the T21 Bass VT does the same thing better. That being said the clean is very nice and warm sounding.

it bypasses the tone circuit. this eliminates the classic muff scooped sound it also adds volume.

Mid knob controls one band of mid frequency, a bypass opens up everything.

Mmmm, yes I figured, I was just thinking about what would work better for being heard in the mix live. I think a mid knob might be more useful, you don't see a lot of pedals using a tone bypass.

I've had both. the mid control is more subtle than the tone bypass.

Did you have a good time at least though?

I grew up in Minnesota and got ticks all the damn time. When we were moving to Oklahoma, people up in MN said "Oh if you think ticks are bad here, wait til you get to OK!"

But I've rarely seen or picked up a tick in OK. Had a couple, and pulled a few off dogs I've had, but not many or often, even being in the wild outdoors a lot.

Looking to make my own quickie pedalboard for my guitar rig. Something easy and practical. Thinking Ikea Gorm pedalboard, but no Ikeas around. Anybody else know a place that would have a similar product cheap? I've check my local hardware stores already. Here' the Gorm board for those unfamiliar:
