I love camping, but can hardly do it anymore. Wish I had a little RV or something. I can't handle sleeping on the ground regardless of how much padding and I've yet to beg, buy, borrow or steal an air mattress that was worth a damn or didn't blow out after a half-dozen uses.

There was a day I could have slept on a bed of sharp rocks, and I used to camp all the time, but 46 years of spills and thrills and breaks and boners and insomnia and aches and pains means when we "rough it" any more, we just rent a cabin somewhere in the boonies.

Yep, gotta shell out for a nice air mattress, we got an REI gift certificate from some friends for an anniversary present a few years back so we used it to get a good one.

Hope that means you shelled out for two tents. It'll be cheaper than therapy for the kiddos.

woke up this morning, my orange ikea tool kit with the orange text logo from my 115 stuck on it was missing, my ex took it to the desert where there are already 2 ikea tool kits that don't have my orange logo stuck on them, i mean for some reason between this and my school not being able to get me my art supplies and books for my classes, i'm gonna lose it, it's almost impossible to get an orange logo and my students have already burned through my personal art supplies, which are nicer than what the school provides, please post your favorite orange goblin track to make me feel better, i've been cleaning the house for almost 5 hours and it's still not clean, going to have to set up my drummers cheapie warlock this weekend, i liked the punchy p tone through our old acoustic 140, just gotta make sure he can get the fx processor to octave up so i can just play the L2000 with rounds or the sb-2 with the flats into the d180 to be as brutal and bassy as possible, not sure if this is the bdsm band or some new noisy thing

Screws are just coming loose from playing!!!! It wasn't the speaker, but the screws mounting the speakers that are vibrating. I'm beyond a little upset. I am going to have to add some wood glue, or monitor screws for the life of this cab. Just not acceptable. I really don't get how others aren't having this problem. No cab I've owned, some of which are almost 40yrs old, have this problem.

I'd go bamboo tooth picks with glue to plug the screw holes, let dry. You should get bite then.

I usually like Ibanez... Honestly, I've never met a Fender I liked. My first bass is/was an Ibanez P/J configuration that was good, might have to dig it out again. Haven't played it in ages. Heresy, some would say, that I don't like any Fenders. But a P bass looks really good to me. Soundwise, again, I prefer Ibanez, with Schecter being a close second. Beyond that, I'm not sure what I like. I just think that the Peavey P's look really good, and they don't say "Fender", so maybe they might be better (to me, at least) than a Fender!

And to be really clear, it's not the Fender name I don't like. I don't like the sound, and they just feel way too chunky for me. I know plenty of people (inlcuding some of my favorite bassists) use and love Fender. They're just not for me. I try different basses at stores every so often just to see if my tastes have changed. As of last night, I'm still solidly an Ibanez guy, but might try a different bass if I like the sound.
