Kids: I might be a weirdo, but I never doubted that wanted to become a father.
I have zero doubts that I want kids, just have not found the right lady, and fear a psyco beaatch ruining my kids and my life for petty bullshiz...

How was the Iceman?

Super hard to find! I was looking for the same thing and possibly loaded with a EMG so I could get some meat head metal tone with my metal zone. I scored this last year but I hate the Floyd so much I don't play it. Great feeling/playing neck though. The pickup is ok but it's a flip piece now. Too clean. Kinda rare I guess too, 88-89 MIJ ESP made Kramer with a recessed trem. This is basically a Japanese baretta.I've owned an Iceman bass and a couple RG guitars before. Looking at some low end Gio and RG models right now. I just want something with a hardtail, fast neck and humbucker in the bridge. Surprisingly kind of hard to find. They put tremolo bridges on everything in that style.
Jazz bass style copper tape strip.

Fender Jazz Bass Bridge Grounding Strap
and yes, any ground is good ground, there should be one common ground AFAIK
No experience with the Abominable DSOM, but the Blower Box is plenty solid. Great pedal, and affordable.Same thing, man, plus I have a history of having crazy girlfriends. Not psycho, but definitely not normal
With MXR M85 out of the equation for now, I'm considering either the Blower Box or Abominable DSOM now. Suggestions?
Sell the RAT. Get the DOD Bonebreaker. Use for any number of electrified strings.Got an offer for my Rat - $139. Had it listed at $159 to see if anyone would bite.
I'm on the fence about selling it. I really can't make it work for bass, but it sounds SO killer on guitar. I don't own any sort of guitar amp/rig and don't see myself getting one anytime soon. Furthermore, I don't expect to be playing guitar in any projects any time soon (if ever). I have the M85 - haven't tried it on guitar but I imagine it would work just fine.
So, do I hang on to it just because I like it and let it sit on a shelf or sell it for more than double what I have into it?
Not hurting for money right now.
The Boneshaker looks awesome! Too bad they keep delaying it. My buddy pre-ordered one, and they haven't shipped out yet. I guess they can't count how many pre-orders they have and prepare accordingly? I mean, he did it back in January!Kids

That first Boneshaker demo's cocked-wah sound is fantastic.
Really though that deep EQ is what turns me on.

I was just told to, "Check your privilege, because you have never had to work hard a day in your life." Just about fell out of my chair.
"I've also never punched any one in the face, but that may change soon...."
