I gave up on it years ago. The only lyrics I seem to be able to write are goofy ones...Ween territory. That's fine for certain things, asnd I do like Ween and Killdozer and bands with a sense of humor in their lyrics, ut it's not really what I want to do.
In the past I have written lyrics that I think are pretty good. Then I look at them a week later and am just embarrassed by how pretentious or just plain crappy they are.
If I'm ever again in a band doing original music, it's either going to be an instrumental project or someone else has to write the words.

the psych album cover photos are coming along nicely and the soundtrack for the show is getting more doomy due to me playing the LB100 with the deadish rounds
Oh sh!t. Thats the ****ing P bass I want- nay NEED. If he could be talked down to like ~130-150 I would do it. Still over-paying but I would do it. You should ask him if he would do it for $100 without any pickups. I would buy it in a heartbeat for that.
I do the whole keep a journal with you as much as possible deal. If you think of a line or a few lines write it down, even if it's just a phrase you can come back later and flesh it all out after you have several saved up. This is how all my best lyrics have come up. Sometimes though it is pretty nonsensical though. You just sort it out when you are finalizing the song. I find that lyrics are better if they don't necessarily all connect in a storu, but more or less imply the imagery you are tying to create.
Saw some Amish buggies parked outside an auction driving through Selinsgrove PA, trippy. Man I miss my family, food, and weather already. So fun sitting over the valley looking down to watch the fireworks all throughout the valley.
Ugh Burnsy you just made my cajones tighten up something fierce. If you don't pursue the deal I PMed you about I STRONGLY urge you to swoop this for yourself. I love my fury. It has made me forget about any GAS for a Lull or LB-100. It will do you good with the right pickup in it. Although fender lace sensors are sweet.
Nice. I've never seen that color on a T-40 either, but the T-20 came in a metallic blue (PVY called it "frost" I think?) and a metallic red they called Sunfire or something like that.
Local CL to me has a guy selling a CAR-ish T-20 for $180 with case. Wish I had a need for it.
CL also has had a guy selling a natural-finish T-60 for like 6 months. Asking $600. He re-posts the ad at least weekly but has never budged on price.
Speaking of G&L, I got another reverb offer for my SB-2. $500. *** are these people thinking? There is another SB-2 on reverb for the same deal I am offering and several others priced a few hundred dollars more. There are several tribute SB-2s going for $500 used. Oh well.
I ordered two King Tut PCBs to build some pharaoh clones. I have already heard of a number of mods that make it a true pharaoh that I will be doing and have ordered components for. Also a madbean user mentioned some mod suggestions that he received from Nick that I have messaged inquiring about. I'd love to find out how to mod for the pharaoh supreme clipping options and throw a blend in there to have a roll your own Pharaoh supreme. Either way this build will fit into a 1590A so @kleinenenten if it goes well and you want one of these, it will be a smaller footprint!

Speaking of blue basses, little help?
I mentioned I put an amp in layaway and I got them to throw an old Squier P-bass in the mix. The bass is "Baltic Blue." My first thought was to refinish it in ivory, but I have come more and more to like the blue. Pics below (not of my specific one.) It is a darker blue, non-metallic, and to my eyes it has a little more green to it than the more "true blue" the pics show. Definitely blue, but the touch/tint of green does give it a sort of oceanic look to me.
Anyway, I figure tons easier to swap out a pickguard rather than do a refinish, right? And it so happens I have three P-bass guards that I think I could get to work.
So, question--if I keep the Baltic Blue, I have a black (b/w/b) pickguard I could use. The only thing I'm not crazy about on this one is that it has the neck pocket route for truss rods accessed where the neck joins the body, but that's not a big deal.
I also have a reddish tort guard and a brown tort guard that has quite a bit of yellow flecks in it.
Once I get the thing home I'll take some pics of it with each guard, but that is going to take some time. It'll be in layaway for at least a couple more months.
Or does anyone think I should just ditch the blue? I think the blue looks pretty cheap with the white pickguard, but I think it could be kinda sharp and uncommon looking with one of the others.

I'm leaning that way myself. If I go black, I think I'll use a white or cream pickup cover. I have a few of those laying around...
So tempting... let me know how it goes! Especially if you figure out the clipping and blend options!
