The Daddario Balanced Tension nickel sets feel and sound great and the 120 set is good for drop tuning. I am falling back in love with flats again though.

Weekend plans of golf, and golf, and home stuff. Got a date night Saturday with the Mrs., going to a swanky Italian joint. I will probably get the Pasta Broccolini, linguine and broccoli tossed in olive oil with butt loads of garlic and a smidge of red pepper flakes. Get some fresh Parmesan on the top, and nom, nom, nom.
Don't really need it, probably flip it, but donner stylish fuzz aka tiny big muff $15 locally to pickup after work.
I foresee a wicked saki hangover in your near future....

Gig tomorrow night, four bands. Taking my Ampeg fridge to share with the three other bassists. I usually prefer sharing my cabs (sometimes heads) than relying on someone else's. Should be a good time. With four bands, set will be right around 45-50 min, which is just right to me. 8-10 songs then done.
It's too big for my pedalboard and i like the "automatic" switching on the dunlop.
@askrere Didn't you flip a Gibson SG bass many moons ago? What did you end up getting for it?
My Weeping Demon Junior version was pretty small and had the automatic setting too, that is a nice feature. I still would love to get a phaser with an expression pedal to go phase phase like wah wah.

Yea, I wanna say I got it for $450, sold for $500-$550.
It was the worn cherry finish basic model Gibson. Not a bad bass, but I'm like OCD about the fact it's pickup and wiring aren't true to form. Doesn't sound bad, just I want that 30k pickup.
I have a pair of artec reproductions, ones nicrophonic and currently in my epi be-0 the other has a chipped magnet supposedly it's ok I just need to try it.
Tnx. Saw a cheapish one on eBay, but I think it's going to get over that price range before it's said and done.
Also found a pelham Epi EB-3 but that sold pretty quick.
It's a blend. The base is metal and the wah foot rocker is metal but just the top housing is plastic, plenty tough though.
The Ibanez 7 series pedals aren't plastic, i think they're aluminium. Very solid and reliable pedals, even though they look kinda cheap.
