Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Got trapped on my walk with Leela. Some kind of slow multi street Halloween parade with cops blocking everything.

So I had to walk the gauntlet, million people and kids reaching out to touch the dog. Then periodic floats of people drifting by hurtling chocolate and other puppy poison onto the streets ahead of me.

Good Man!
It's all part of my(selfish) plan to get her into music.
Somehow her ballet teacher has taught her how to count time.(4/4 at least)
Can't tell you how many times we've sat down with a couple of drums and worked on that. Never seemed to be able to get her to stop goofing off and pay attention.
She responds very well to teachers, schmucks line me she just walks all over.

Bah... She's 4. Keep spending time with her. What she experiences with you will mean alot down the road. More than you know or believe now.
That's really all I hope for. She sees me playing bass and really wants to participate.( mainly twiddling knobs)
The other day she wanted to sing while I played. Probably the coolest moment we've had. (Honestly hurt to listen too, but still fun)

Making significant progress on my rack case finally!

Gave it a clean up today, plugged it into the wall, and it powers up! The guy who gave it to me said some tweaker left it at his house years back and almost certainly doesn't even remember it's there, so I could have it. He also said it it didn't work, but I'm willing to bet he didn't know that you couldn't just plug an instrument straight into it. So any of you KVLTists (@mc_muench ) have any info or recommendations on using this thing? It was covered in Cthulu-knows how many years of grime, but it's actually pretty clean with a scrub and some Pledge. Insides full of spider webs so I'll get around to cleaning it some other time. Thing has a cantaloupe of a transformer in it, and some of the biggest can caps I've ever seen.

Also might snag a good deal on a 4001v63 in a couple weeks, if I can swing it financially.

People started drinking milk as a cultural decisoon in Europe in the Neolithic. Normally your lac operon (the thing that lets you prcoess lactose) switches off when you hit puberty, but we've since propgated the mutant one that doesn't due to us drinking heaps of milk. Having this mutant gene is way more common Europeans because we apparently like cows the most.

Just a bit of lactose interolence trivia for you
