If anyone else is at the tool show tonight hit me up! I'll be wearing one of my bands shirts! Potentially extremely intoxicated. Let's have a beer or 6!
I'll be there! Sleep shirt, bald head and big red beard.

Roto flats have super high tensionI just never associate Harris tone with flats. In general flats have higher tension right? I've never used them but lately have been curious.
How are flats on guitar? A buddy of mine has been wondering for a while, as have I.Flats be awesome. I've used them with excellent results now on bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar and soon as I get a thicker set lap steel as well.

Really? So you still get the high end? Might have to try that out. That was mine and my buddy's concern. I'll let him know. Thanks! They are pretty great. I find you get the benefits of less noise, and never going dead, but there is less of an obvious difference in terms of brilliance lost compared to bass flats vs rounds.
Just saw an acoustic in town for cheap, can't find any info on it but it's an old harmony and the fretboard appears to have a single cool pickup built into it at the 14th fret. Totally going to see it Monday and if it's good, it's getting bought and flatted too. That's another benefit on acoustic is they work with piezo or magnet pickups.

Well I didn't see turkey but I did manage to fully black out during tools set so mission accomplished I guess.
I drove to the nearest guitar center today, to try to find a decent squier jazzmaster, jag or strat and they didn't have squat. A couple lowest end strats, no jags or jm of any brand. I was there all of 5 minutes, very disappointing.
We actually had trick r treaters for the first time in a few years. The little guy has a dragon costume on and is helping me hand out candy.
That was his plan, so he could steal the mostly harmless pre.
