I can't say with certainty because I wasn't there, but circumstances do in fact suggest that the drinkin' got ahead of the thinkin'.

My landlord was living in the dark ages until just last month.Anybody know or have experience with rent payments that require service fees? My landlords require that I make my payments through a website they provided me(paylease IIRC). Every time I have to make a payment there is a $2.95 processing fee. I know it's only 3 bucks, but it just grinds me the wrong way. It seems like a clear violation of my lease agreement seeing how the lease mentions nothing other than the exact rent amount. I can't really find any info on the topic. Not that I really want to plot and scheme, but if this is in fact a breach of contract it would be cool to use it as a shield of sorts from the potential bum ****ing come check out and deposit refund time, or even as an out from the lease for me if things with my lady go south and I have to move out.

Had to write a check.
It's the only thing i write checks for anymore. I pay everything else online. And i do if the day it's due.
Sure enough i was late paying rent 6 months last year. Which cost me late fees of $100.
I badgered then every month. "Please let me pay this online. I'll pay extra. Service fees are fine just don't make me write a check, fill out and mail a envelope."
Finally did it and paying that $3 fee was nearly orgasmic.
Best $36 I'll spend this year. Much better than the $600 I spent last year because I'm a procrastinator.
That's sweet man. Nothing better than 1upin the unrighteous.I'm pretty sure 1 requirement of being a landlord is that you have to be a bit sketchy.
I once had a landlord who rented me an apartment that was in a warehouse. It was actually pretty awesome and it wasn't a legal apartment so it was cheap.
A few days before Christmas one year he knocked on my door to tell me I needed to move out before the end of the month so his now teenage son could live there.
I told him to go to hell and that I'd move out in 30 days and if he had a problem with that I'd contact authorities.
I only took about a week to move out and the day I finished moving out I found a homeless guy sleeping on a bench and directed him to the now vacant apartment.
I bet he enjoyed the squatters.
I do need to come twiddle your knobs. (In all ways, of course.) The previous post was mostly rambling. I'm trying to get a doomy OD sound for guitar. My distortion for death/thrash seems to be good with my Rivera Metal Shaman, and if it's not, I can definitely tweak that. It's infinitely tweakable. My Supercollider sounds awesome solo, but sucks in the mix (A common issue for me with fuzz. I don't think I like fuzz on my rig, though it can sound awesome with other rigs.) Really, I want Sword, Grand Magus, Sabbath style guitar riffs for my doom. Those don't sound "fuzzy" to me, but just overdriven and thick. My Real Tube gets kinda close, but by the time the saturation gets there, it's just high gain noise. I'm thinking of replacing the tube in it just to lower the gain and get it a bit creamier maybe? I don't know, I'm terrible with describing tones I want. Just go by the previously mentioned bands. If I can get them in my guitar sound, I'd be happy for doom.So are you looking for fuzz, OD or distortion? You seem to be commenting on fuzz, looking for OD and testing distortions. Maybe I have that confused, but I'm not really following what it is you want aside from your tonal desires. Come play my ****. I have several fuzz pedals that get thick and doomy. It sounds like a rat may be your thing. I have a boutique rat clone that may be up your alley.
Again, come play my ****. I have one you could fanoodle to your hearts content.
Are there any Cheap OD pedals that don't use an EQ or tone? Flat even response, the like Joyo roll bounce clean boost is one idea, but I wish it had a gain too for dirt.
Don't know about cheap, but DUNN has one with no knobs.

Chicago Stompwork "Grey Speck" 250 clone acquired for $36.
Yeah, my LL takes his sweet goddamn time cashing the check sometimes. So I'll make sure to get it to him by the first, then he'll wait until the 15th sometimes to deposit it. But if the check is a day late because of USPS ****ery I'll definitely hear about.
