6 inputs but only two mic pres. Look for a larger version of that one, count the xlr inputs, that'll tell you how many mic preamps it has. I use my 12 channel behringer mixer a ton and it's held up with no issues for 8 years now. I got it cheap from work because it fell off the very top of the pallet racking, box was destroyed, mixer was severely dented, took it to the service department and it checked out fine. So they're durable, and they're super cheap used. Mine also has onboard effects that aren't terrible, controllable with a footswitch.
But listen to mbelue, i dont mean to discourage at all. I wanted to have a pa and live effects for my drums when i was playing in bands, it was a lot more expensive back then so I never made it happen. Microphones are cheap these days, and some of them are really pretty good. CAD is an excellent value for the money, plus you can mod them for the cost of a few dollars and they'll be on par with much more expensive mics.
I hope you can make it work the way you want it to, I'm sure it'll be badass no matter what you end up doing.
