Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

So apparently, if someone tells you that they're going to ship something on Monday, then doesn't, and doesn't tell you that there will be a delay and doesn't ship until Wednesday, when the receiver asks for tracking info on Tuesday only to find out it hasn't been shipped, that makes the receiver "demanding". Good to know. I don't get some people. The shipping delay isn't a problem, but telling me that it'll go out Monday and then not communicating that it isn't happening is. I know most people here aren't a business, and stuff comes up. But if you say something, stick to it or at least tell me it's changed. That's all. Rant over.
Worst. I always ship as soon as possible, and let people know if there's any delay to my original estimate. Apparently simply doing that is enough to get me all kinds of 5-star ratings. Seems pretty simple to me. Company I work for ships fast, same day if your order is in by 2:30, then next day. I've been spoiled by this. Fliptops took 7 days to ship my capacitors and I was pretty pissed. Ah well, guess we can't all be awesome.
Also, here's a rough practice track. Couple flubs here and there and we're still tweaking some minor things, but overall not bad:
i like to say it will take two weeks and then say over 45 days like the guys that make the silicone molds in china

It's just annoying. Follow through on whatever you say. That's it. Guy's all upset that he paid extra for Priority to get it to me faster, but never once did I even question the shipping method. I just asked if he had a tracking number for me on Tuesday morning. You know, like 12 or so hours at least after the item was supposed to ship. Oh well. I suppose I'll survive, though my interweb credit is permanently damaged. I may never recover fully.

been wanting on for years but there is always something else I want more.
Absolutely shaging love it. Take an SVT, add a tube based overdrive and really nice sounding 10 band EQ - it's loud as shaging balls, incredibly flexible, can take pedals like a champ or sound massive and dirty on its own. I really, really like the thing. I'll be buried with it.

Bad news first...Im no longer a sprinklerfitter apprentice, and the only legit reason why I can come up with is my boss didnt like me. It sure as shvt wasnt my work performance. So back to the drawing boards on what I wanna do with my life besides music.
Now on to the good news...
Im now way more free to be in the DOOM room!
And also Galactic Hatchet just openned up for MOTHAFVCKIN BONGZILLA last night!!! I was like a dream come true. I know and have played with the Bongzilla dudes in their side projects but this was next level shvt. Its been a great first year for the the Hatch, cant wait to see what 2016 brings...hopefully our long awaited cassplit with Winston's band, a full length debut, me actually singing and touring?

Thanks! Im young, I got plenty of time to figure shvt out and I got plenty of people around me to help me through it.
Finally cleaned up the wiring in the Fury and played it all weekend, I'm over the toddler ding. Watched a movie about CBGB on Netflix, it wasn't bad.
Haha, sorry dude. I don't know why it gets a bad rep in some circles. Yeah it's not a blueline, it's not a VR, it's not a Heritage, it's not the 2 non-pro. Maybe those all sound a little better, maybe not, but at the end of the day, it's still a freakin SVT! With overdrive!
If it good enough for Tim C you'll be fine. I'm not into audioslave but his tone on the second record is nasty.
Call me ignorant but SVTs are all good, the differences are just variations on a (good) theme.
Well, after very little time with my Pork Loin, I've made the jump. Time for a second Pork Loin! Found one online even cheaper than the first one, and still in great shape. Gonna have one for each board, guitar and bass. Likely mod them both as well, but might keep one stock for a while just for the sake of comparison.
