Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

I may do this with my black Fury. Black on black with a regular and reverse set of cream model Ps.
Just reverse route the cavities.

If you guys could only have one pedal, not dirt or tuner... What would it be?
You mean one pedal besides tuner, right? Because if I can only have one pedal, it's going to be a tuner. Period.

Besides that, wah.

When I say uncased I mean like this with the bottom still on just the top cover removed.

Ps. I shortened those screws to make it fit in my rack case. But it was buzzing before that.

If I were me, I'd plug it in uncovered, where it's quiet, then, while being VERY careful, install the cover while it's still on, and observe the moment the noise comes back, and try to fiddle with the cover to kind exactly where the ground loop is occurring. As in, "oh yeah when this screw gets tightened, it hums, better see what that screw is touching" sorta thing. You shouldn't have much risk of shock, as the chassis is (I'd hope) grounded obv. YMMV.

That's a good idea I will discuss that when I get home.

I'm going back to Ocala end of March. Never bummed around the gulf coast. You know any cool things or beaches within an hour or two west of Ocala?
IIRC Silver Springs state park is really cool. When i was a kid there was like an Alligator "Petting Zoo" near Inverness but most of those disappeared years back so its probably gone too.

I really miss the Alligator wrestling tourist traps down there. The native Americans had that nailed. Great fun. Qq

So this new Tech Support job is going pretty great. Just spent 40 minutes on the phone trying to help a lady access her email.

"So, do you know what web browser you're using, such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox?"
"I have AVG"
"Okay, that's your anti-virus, but do you have a web browser to open"
"I have an internet if that's what you mean"
"Okay, if you look in the bottom left hand corner of your screen, can you click the Windows emblem there and open your start menu"
"It says Amazon and Ebay and Yahoo."
"Oh, okay, do you have a web browser open? Can you get to webpages?"
"Yes, I can search the internet"
"Okay, type in <insert webpage address> and press enter"
"Okay, let me open AVG."
"No, just clear the address bar at the top of your screen where it says the website name"
"Okay, I clicked it"
"Okay, now delete all of that."
"How do I delete things"
"Well, I generally use the backspace/delete button..."

AND SO ON

I work in a corporate IT department and I feel your pain. I've been working on installing a new phone system in our tulsa facility for the last 6 months and it's amazing how many people can't figure out how to operate a new phone.
