The El Oso kicked off my Bass muff. The pharaoh kicked the El Oso. I tried an 80s NYC muff. The fulldrive is doing it's thing now. Fulltone for grind, Joyo UD for girth.
Deep cleaning my house to seriously loud doom. Inspired me to write a song in my head. Red Hammer. I couldn't find my stupid red hammer...
I'm looking for some good speakers to use at home with my laptop. I want something that really rocks. MF has these as a SDotD. You guys know anything about them or have an opinion either way? It has been a really long time since I shopped for speakers that were not for my bass rig.

The volume started rising and falling on my old svt, I'm hoping it just needs a redtube. Also started humming. My drummer is using my backup amp, 4 pro, to power his kick drum monitor stack. So I bought an Aguilar tone hammer 500 off the classifieds. It sounded real good and was easy to work with. Drummer likes it better than the svt.
Question though, does the hum and volume dropping out sound like I need new power tubes, or something else? Where's good to get tubes? Guitar player has a bias tool. Thanks

My SVT does that and it's always the 12DW7 in V1. None of the JJ 12DW7s I tried ever lasted. I haven't had any issues with NOS 12DW7s.
If your SVT is a newer one that may not help but I'd try replacing V1 tube anyway. Cheap and easy. If that doesn't work, tech time.

So last night at band practice I saw the clip light on my B1500 flashing. Only the second time ever. Louder than I would ever practically need though.

The holiday weekend is killing our business tonight at the club. I'm bored and not going to make as much as I had hoped. Oh well at least I have the next two days off. That only happens a couple times a year.
