Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

S'up, kids? Mustard post (mustard-ketchup-catchup, get it, huh, huh? It's the bong rip we used to make people do when they showed up after the partying began.)

I got nothing new or exciting to share. Well, my lawn mower has a mystery ailment, but that's about it. Just got off a 4 day weekend, and was productive all 4 days, so wife is verrrrry happy with me. Not happy enough to foot the bill for an Alembic, but pretty happy.

Would you really spring for an Alembic anyways?
I play that mental game allot. Should I come into a sudden windfall I'm not sure I could blow it all on one thing. No matter how kickass that thing was. Too many areas in my rig could benefit from an incremental boost as opposed just getting one killer bass.
A whole bunch of mid-range stuff > one kickass thing.
IMO of course.

Oh yeah morning to you shagers.

I conquered the Yard of Doom this weekend with that push weed trimmer I recently picked up. The right tool for the right job and all that jazz. The only problem was after I got all the grass and weeds done the goat was looking at me like hey shagko, you do know that's what I eat, don't you?
And holy shite how do you all live with no AC? I remember growing up in PA without it, I used to think just cause it snows in the winter doesn't mean it doesn't get hot and sticky in the summer.
