There was just a guy in STL selling like 8 T40s. Some cool colors but all were priced pretty high

Saw that too, but figured they were a bit much as well. Thought about getting one until I saw the price.

What are you peoples using for cabs?

I have an older Berg NV610 and am picking up an NV215 tomorrow (both sealed). I love the punch, but wonder about ported cabs. I'm curious what everyone's thoughts are on sealed vs. ported cabs for the genre. There's a lot of low down tuning and also a focus on vintage style gear.

I prefer sealed cabs, i have an ampeg 810 and 2 sealed 215s. Could never get the sound i like with ported cabs, but it may not be the port that is the offending variable. you really just have to try yourself.

Ive only ever used ported cabs i think. That said it wasn't until I got the dually and bassic that I was happy.

I should try some sealed cabs, but don't need more cabs, and I'm used to carrying my ultralight green boys.

Now I mostly play BEAD.

For my bass vi, I use guitar cabs and love it.

Berg is the only production one i know of. mine are custom made based on the matamp/electric design but more heavy duty.

actually it seems bergantino discontinued the 215. they make a sealed 115 though

I know Dan at low down sound will make one, also Worshiper cabs in Austin and Mauler cabs as well. All around 800ish. Not production though but wicked easy to work with.

Whelp my ISP Decimator is not working right, Ive fussed with it for weeks and no dice. I tried last night doing so many variations and my ears are so hurt from the feedback blasts lol.

Luckily it's under warranty and just gotta pay shipping to get it fixed.
