I resemble that remark... A huge horror movie buff, Army of Darkness was a big favorite, and when cell phones first came out, they weren't very customizable, so your home screen could only have one word... Hence Armyadarkness.

Love Vampires and horror video games... Legacy of Kain, Bloodrayne was great... She won out the avatar because she was perfect for it.

I'm okay with Amy, so don't sweat it. I like a lot of Amy's

I have two! They are modded to add a bit more clarity in the top end, however it sounded pretty darn great stock too. It’s a 1 cap swap if you’re interested.

The Pork Loin is my current favorite and go-to OD. It sounds fantastic in so many applications, though you will likely want to tweak the inner knobs to match your rig. Once I did that, the rest of the pedal really started to shine.

I currently use it for my “vintage” OD tones, as I find it works well with my band’s slower stuff. However, it works well for most things.

Here’s what really gets my vote for this pedal - It may not be the best for a style, but it can work for pretty much any style.

I put a DOD250 and a Bass Big Muff Deluxe before it. With all 3 on (with my jazz bass) its thick af. Sounds like butt with my Peavey Patriot (which is kinda in the ballpark of a p bass). When I rock the Patriot, I use only the Pork Loin. The Patriot's pickup is very hot so its very girthy with the pork loin.

blower box makes some real cool sounds. It is pretty gnarly. I don't use it live these days because it can be a little difficult to tame in our mix but, again, gets some sick dirt. I just bought a bunch of pedals I cant afford so I am probably going to let mine go here soon; if you're interested, hit me up.

The mod literally costs a few bucks, tops, if shipping is included. (And assuming you already have a soldering iron etc.). The cap to swap costs less than a buck. Shipping costs more, and if you have a local electronics store you can forget the shipping. If you have the skill, or know someone who can, this mod is incredibly cheap.

I think you could definitely get that tone with a hot p-bass pushing an all tube head, as well. Maybe there's a boost pedal? I feel like I can get that tone with no pedal, and that difference in tone through just digging in. BUT I tend to play hard.

Thinking boost rather than distortion pedal just because I can hear something similar by hitting the series/parallel switches on my G&Ls.

Also, my computer speakers suck, so take this with an appropriate grain of salt...

Yeah i use superior drummer which is by the same company and id say no it doesnt sound digital. They mic real kits and theres a reasonable range of sounds available. Its not going to sound exactly like a real drummer but for writing its great and it will fool a regular person.

That has yet to be proven. Many people have bought new ones, not NOS, and had the original cap. I don’t believe that they come stock for any revision of the pedal. I believe one person has claimed that they come pre-modded, but to my knowledge, everyone after that who has bought new and checked says it is NOT modded.

I hope it is pre-modded for whoever needs them, and good luck finding it if they are!

I love Reverb listings from those Japanese shops. I almost want to tell them that their listing writer maybe oversold his/her command of the English language in their interview. But then, we wouldn't be blessed with stuff like this:
