I miss my ex. She was way more sensible about money than I am. My plan was actually that, since she made more than I did, if we got married, she'd just be in charge of the money and I'd just get a certain amount of stupid spending money that wasn't needed for anything in particular. Oh well.


Damn, dude. My ex was conservative with money, but she didn't resent me buying music stuff if I was going to use it.


I thought the point of a Subaru Outback was to be able to fit ridiculous large cabs in the back.

I drive an Outback. You can fit a shagton of gear in one.

Brown Sabbath is the band Brownout. The Angels guy just guest vocals on a track or two. He does a good job, but the regular singer is also good.

I usually have about 20 tracks on an average project. Sometimes less, sometimes more, usually depends on how elaborate the drums are and how many guitar overdubs there are.

Well, we had six drum mics, due to two kicks, plus dual-mic'd, double-tracked guitars, and dual-mic'd bass, plus keys, plus three vocal tracks. Plus mic'd and DI'd upright bass and acoustic guitars. It was pretty ridiculous.

I have issues eating Sushi in the middle of the country. Never had a bad experiance. Just "fresh" to me means it had a pumping heart no more than 12 hours before I eat it.

Yeah, it just seems wrong to me. Even if I know it isn't, actually, I would feel weird about it.

No, a Dually is basically a traditionally voiced 2x15 that's designed with modern, lightweight, really efficient drivers.

I'm serious about those neighbors. I befriended a Hispanic family that lived next door and they basically adopted me. Bought trees from the dad, they were always giving me beer, top shelf Mexican booze, and the food - I've never had so much incredible Mexican food. They just wouldn't take no for an answer - they were incredibly kind and treated me as a member of the family.

Much of the same happened when i lived in New Mexico as well. That's not to make a sweeping generalization about all Hispanic people, but a lot of them are just really kind people.

Fade fireburst is definitely happening in the near future, just bought a new set of tires though with the money I was gonna a use for a guild I found a while back. I love the tone I got out of my Thunderbird plus humbuckers in my epiphone classic, I'm hoping this plus the brightness of the mini will be even more to my liking.

I'll have to check out the welding glove option for my paw so it doesn't get cut up . So show last night was F'n awesome, even being minus a guitar player. The rig (black p, SVT, demon, nuke) slays and sounded perfect. Going to take the rat tail and woolly mammoth off the board. I prefer the demon over the rat and the mammoth was just quiet on the board in this setup. The nuke boost a solid winner and killed it last night when i needed some bumps in volume. Need to find a noise box to replace the mammoth for feed back. Going to try to mess with the second switch on the nuke fist as I was boost only last night. Black tape did ok on the bridge but kept wanting to come off. Some mentioned a Hipshot type A so I'll look into that. Black P is about 85% done and after a bridge swap, headstock dye and propped string tree she will be ready. Also used those .120 daddarios last night and they sounded and felt good. Didn't notice much tonal difference over the GHS I had before. The slightly smaller gage is nice even for the drop b it's tuned in. Double bonus i take those peds off and straight back to the electric machete board. Got another early track from the guitar player and if this drummer works out the new stuff will sound WAY better then the early stuff. On a super high this morning even with only 4 hours sleep and having to work on a Saturday.

Is there any benefit to running my Carbon Copy through either a 12v or 18v power outlet? I'm all out of 9v spaces on my power supply. Is there any risk of damaging the pedal? I've heard some pedals seem to work better at higher voltages as it gives them bigger headroom but just thought I'd check in first before I go on to do something stupid.
