Well my guitarist voice capped out after 7 songs... so we have one last short session booked for after Days of the DOOMED.
Its not that he was straining it, its that he had put done 7 songs each averaging 7 mins. So he had sang a lot. Its understandable, everything is doubled when you do a double, go figure. The vocals are sounding amazing though. We didn't want to rush to finish tonight and end up with a few songs with crappy vocals. Especially the album opener. Pretty sure we have the order of the album figured out. Flows nicely, and never boring with the number of long songs that we have.
I think your right. Had all my gear loaded yesterday. I believe it can be done.... Least till I try dragging the old school 2x15 out.You need some work on your tetris...I fit 3 oversized 212, straight 412, 118, 3 heads 2 guitars, a pedal case and 2 toolboxes with a passenger in my Ford focus wagon...
You are right on the money with the assessment of the Foundation neck.Yep jealous. I bet that neck is fast and thin too.
Plus jam band, yeah jealous.
Yeah at some point (late 80s?) Peavey decided to leave the thick necks and get slimfast. Best idea IMO.You are right on the money with the assessment of the Foundation neck.

Yes!?
I recorded with my crapband over the weekend. The vocalist was coming down from a nasty case of laryngitis and his voice was all kinds of wrecked. Fortunately we were only tracking drums so his vocal work was only used as cues for the drummer. Man, towards the end of some songs he sounds like an Eastern European grandmother calling out for her insulin shot.Well my guitarist voice capped out after 7 songs... so we have one last short session booked for after Days of the DOOMED.
Although I appriciate the fanned fret concept and how it's working out for so many. I'm afraid my feeble skills will fumble all over one of those necks.
On a side note I met Ralph Novax when he was submitting his patent. I was a store manager at a copymat at the time. He was not real interested in talking to a long hair 20 year old about his designs.
Visions of old school Saturday Night Live and John Belushi doing his Romanian woman shtick.Man, towards the end of some songs he sounds like an Eastern European grandmother calling out for her insulin shot.

Yes!?
That guy has been listing that thing for over a year...someone should by it. Maybe me if a Michigan friend can pick her up and hold for me until I make a trip out there.
Yup thats what I use. 250 watts at 4 ohms. Looks a lot better condition than mine was in. I had the built in fuzz modded to sound better other wise it's wet farts. There way too much in this thing, crazy cathedral organ like. Tremolo is cool. If you don't snag it lemme know i will. Always good to have a back up.
