What I like best about the neck on this bass is the contour seems to be a "D" shape with nice shoulders that really fills out the feel of it. Imagine a P neck depth with the fretboard width of a J.

Right now their running one 4x12 each and I'm using a 8x10 but soon I'll have the Randall 2x15 running ( just need a power drill which I'm waiting for) and I plan on giving the 8x10 back to its owner. They have plans to get more 4x12s but that could be a while. Right now I crush them with the bassman and I'm looking for something less gnarly till they get more cabs. And yeah I have a peavey specialist out here in Michigan, he set my beta bass and bassman straight for me, I plan on just running it clean with my fuzz through it if the built in fuzz sucks.
Also you'll be the first to know if I want to sell it.
Youre throwing those sciency kappa zeta pi neo speakers into that massive Randall right? I think the Vulcan will do just fine. The natural OD is killer so just keep turning it up.
Started working on an oversized sealed 115 using repurposed wood my dad has laying around the house. Going for the made in the backyard rugged look. Used a big solid plank for the sides, top and bottom. Going to use fence slats for the back. Working on what I'm going to use for the face. No science involved, just making a box to put my Altec Lansing 15" in. It'll be my home cab, so weight and looks arent a priority. But I think it'll turn out pretty cool. Inside dimensions are roughly 29x26x10, which is quite a bit widder and taller but not much deeper than the cab the speaker is now. Left the nail in there for extra TONEZZZZ.

That's the one, its rewired and good to go, I just have to make new mounting holes for the new speakers, the original Randall jaguar speakers had oddly spaced mounting holes and doesn't not line up with the new ones.
But yeah I'm gonna play around with the head once i pick up this weekend ( guy lives like an hour and half away from me)and I'll let you know if I want to hold on to it or not.

Whatcha drinking there? Not firmiliar with that label. Cab will be a beast, lumber jack style.
A New Glarus Spotted Cow, easily my favorite beer ever from my favorite brewery ever, they're only in Wisconsin and have never made a beer I don't love. Hell they're IPA is my favorite IPA even though I hate IPA. And its all mine and Janitors, and no you can't have any.

Sounds good in my book, I'm a Lagunas fan. They have a brewery in Chicago now. You guys are in for a treat. Yet I've had to lay off, because most of them are some high octane brews and I'm gaining weight again. Have to settle for an occasional Mendocino Brewing company Red Tail Ale.
On another glorious note I've finally pushed the soon to be ex-wife to the point that we will be going to the mediator and hash out this divorce soon. All it took was refusing to turn on the air conditioner in the house. We’ll see how it turns out. I’ll likely take in in the ***. We’ll see if she takes the wellbeing of our daughter to heart.
I don't like how skinny my Peavey's neck is towards the nut. I wish it had less taper, like my 4001.
I like the front to back feel, though. Very comfortable in that respect.
