They be long gone. I'd of shooed them off my land if they resided there still, I say nay to vagrancy on my land. Unless they pledge fealty.

Woo Hoo pretty good gear sales week, now if I can only get straight with Reverb to pick up that PRS. Now to move some pedals for more pedals of course 
Yeah I'm going to be building myself a smaller secondairy board for my more straight forward metal projects. Getting a bit tired of lugging the big board with all the super trippy effects everywhere when all I really use all the time in projects other than LUMA is comp/OD/Noise gate.
Would kind of like to add a distortion in there too. Tried using my supercollider but any type of fuzz just seems to get buried since my normal tone is way punchy and in your face. Would need a good grinding/cutting distortion.
That should be referred to as the guest house from now on.
Oh I know. I like a raunchy tone so I run a B3K which is always on into a dirty amp. I need something that will kick things up a notch into full blown distortion in certain parts.
Set a trap for them, then when you have them, take them into the basement soundproofed room, and do wicked, wicked things. Like Rick Astley on repeat.

The winners so far for me have been the Wren and Cuff Tall Font Russian and IdiotBox Blower Box. TFR is warmer. BB has more grit. I have one more OD on the way and I'll decide if it stacks well for my needs. Although I like the Fiuzrocious Demon King and Broke Dick Peanut Gallery they arn't stacking well with the rig with the Tech 21 VT-RM.
Welp I have major GAS now haha. I've been curious about the TFR since it came out but wasn't sure about it since it's not bass specific. There was a lack of vids with bass when I was first interested in it. That Blower Box seems pretty awesome though. I might have to try and get my hands on one. Their site says sold out. Any other places to get them?
I've been wanting to try out the Blower Box, also the Barber Gain Changer. I've used the W&C PPB as rough sounding overdrive. Turning the tone up, the gain down and playing with the blend to get it out of fuzz territory and something closer to a RAT. It's not perfect for that use, but pretty good in a mix I think. Here's a comparison clip I did between it and my RAT with some clean blend on it. The Wren & Cuff is first, RAT second.

Funny enough I'm collecting the limbs as they are perfectly straight, I can weave walls out if them and have a hut in the dense growth. Getting a trail cut is a fun backyard hobby.
I'll do like those cannibals in "The Road" and nibble sparingly.
I have a tendancy to go over board at first then dial back. Right now the VT is offering a simple SVT tone stack for the dirt pedals to crush. What I'm fighting is clarity in the band mix and need more mids. Too much bass just sounds like mush with the riffs were rolling with. I'm also not focusing on playing the songs right with my mind overly concerned about settling on a good sounding tone over all. I've stripped down the board needs to a tuner>Trace Elliott SMX compressor>Dirt option 1 or Dirt option 2. The VT is an interesting beast and probably in the end going to work. Just need to get comfortable with it. Interesting is the sugessted SVT settings for SVT has very little drive or charicter applied. It's really hard for me to dial somthing at home in then take the rig to a completely different room and it be worthy.
