Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

I have no problems with either guitarist and leads in our band, but I do have Moog Taurus III pedals I use in the band to just add some color and sounds here and there. Don't discount some type of synth or key addition.
Any of y'all know any good places to get some good knobs? At first I wanted to do all black hardware on the Bass I just finished (which currently it is all black besides the knobs). Then I saw how it looked with no knobs and kind of liked it. It really sold the "I made this in my garage feel" but now I just don't know. I feel like the Big Ugly deserves better. I looked on Amazon and the results were either too tacky or too standard. I'd like them to have some character but not be super loud (aesthetically speaking of course). I'm probably going to hit etsy next but if y'all know any places or even knobs in particular that you think would match let me know. To give y'all some info about it I pretty much exclusively play metal with this bass so I want some doomy looking knobs.
Fat as hell! when I isolate the Mudbucker with the tone down it'll sound like straight woofer, but with the tone up it'll give you that vintage farty sound that I was looking for with it. Typically, since I'm playing mostly metal with it, I'll go J and MUD at 100% with the tone all the way down or just slightly up and that'll work well with the pedals I'm using. If I go tone all the way up with my distortion then it just gets too muddy. I will say I do like the sound of all knobs 100% with no distortion though. Strung it with BEAD strings then dropped it to C- standard, and its muy bueno.
I just love how boomy it is. Next upgrade will definitely be a better J PUP though. I used the Squire Pup that it came with and it's meh.
Yeah my current bass is an Ibanez SR300, which is a reverse PJ. I was really just wanting to see what the hype around the P bass was, and a black P bass does kinda say "doom" to me. (Yes I know his is a Lakland

So as I'm developing my sound, I'm beginning to add new pedals. I've been fairly minimalistic with those, but it's starting to grow. I'm currently using a Small Stone, a Big Muff Pi, and a Sansamp (the programmable one with 3 presets), and just ordered the EHX Canyon reverb/delay. Since I also have an electric upright that I want to add to the mix, I'm thinking about getting an A/B splitter (though most of the ones I see are for one input and 2 outputs rather than the other way around), and I should probably throw a tuner in there as well. And I have an EQ which gives me even more control on the upright (which really needs quite a bit of equalization). So at this point I'm thinking a pedalboard is in order. And one of the things I'm seeing in a lot of the reviews is that there can be some noise from the power supply. I've never used one before so I'm looking for recommendations. That's kind of neat. I don't have any experience with it myself. Seems kind of inexpensive for a board with a built in power supply and battery, but maybe its just a great deal. I didnt find anything in the specs about being compatible with european power? I might of missed but I'd be sure it is switchable or can automatically adjust? I just run a TruTone 1 Spot Pro and mount it to the underside of my board. When I travel out of the country i can take it of my bigger board and stick it to my travel board. Good for all power sources and not noisey. However, on my little travel board it takes up a lot of real estate so I am looking at grabbin one of these super compact models that I can swap onto any board should my pedal collection shrink or grow.

If you're handy and have access to tool, making your own isn't a bad way to do it. Power supplies are nice to have. Don't think I'd ever go without one, but make sure it's isolated so each pedal won't mess with the rest. Daisy chains can create all sorts of havoc.
I usually use small bear electronics. Good prices and quite the variety.

Saturnworks can make you the type of splitter you're describing.
Never tried their stuff, but I'd second this. Heard nothing but praise for this guy's work.

Lol sounds like yankee talk! I've lived all over Texas but Houston is my favorite because every time you go outside it's like going for a swim!
He has been since they made it. He'll play the five string also though.
