Anyone else have poopie mates who send you text messages at ungodly hours of the night asking the dumbest questions and then you respond with a definitive answer and as you're dozing off into sleep they send ANOTHER text message simply saying "Okkkk" which serves absolutely no purpose at all and you can't put your phone on silent or turn it off because you rely on your phone's alarm to wake you up but then you can't get back to sleep and you have to wake up super early because shag my life?

My phone has separate volume settings for Alarm, Media/Music and Ringtone/Notifications. When I go to bed Media and Ringtone get muted, alarm volume stays up. Works like a charm.

If you want to teach your friends a lesson in consideration start texting them meaningless bullsh*t when they're sleeping.

I may have made up for talking someone in to a smaller tube amp by making a connection so someone can get a 3620.

Take a day off work, and the night beforehand, go to there house in the wee hours, and ring the doorebll, when they answer, ask an idiotic question. then wait, 3 minutes after they go to bed, and repeat.

When I was in school, I had a few semesters where I had a 7am class, followed by a full day of stuff. I worked the weird restaurant second shift so I wasnt getting out of work til 2am-230. Went home, did some home work, then grabbed a 2 hour nap before class. Only to go to class all day and work again that following night.

My room mates learned that if I was sleeping, waking me up was a punishable offense.

Yeah same. If I'm asleep I may as well be dead to the world. I can mute my phone and the alarm will still go off loud and clear. I even put my phone face down so the notification light won't bother me. Not that I get to sleep in darkness all that often. working graveyard shift blows :/

I dont get a lot of sleep as a general rule. So when I am sleeping, it is best to not wake me up, I'll cut you.

Yeah no prob. Just trying to give them a bit of exposure and support my local scene. It's not easy playing weird music in my neck of the woods. We're basically in bum fuuck nowhere. They've been doing pretty good though cause they've played in a bunch of bands for years. They have a lot of contacts which is half the battle.

Ouch, that's a bit much. Saw a couple of his solo shows about 10 years ago, was pretty awesome - he's sitting there playing acoustic guitar and singing, then he kicks on a big muff for an ear-splittingly loud, incredibly badass solo, then back mellow acoustic.

Yes, and if I just say I'm asleep, protocol seems to be wait five minutes for me to settle back into sleep, then text me "sorry!"...

I sleep like a good 7-10 hours d day... I need a better schedule where I get up earlier and stay up longer. My days are quick. Just got my one class to contend with... Need to start resume submitting.
