Just moved. Getting set up in the new flat, been really busy. I promise I'll post gear pics once I'm up and running
I got a Behringer HM300. HM-2 clone. Dirt cheap. Does what it should, but prefer my other dirt cheap clone on bass.
I've been building model trains for years, and now I'm starting to build a railway in the back yard.

I put the alu Peavey T-40 on Reverb this morning, in the attempt to keep at least our reharsal space. I'm not even sure about what I am doing.
Really f...ing sad. A part of me hopes that nobody buys it.
As soon as I can go to the space again, I think I'm going to sell every pedal that is not on my board... This COVID thing was and utter disaster, and who knows how this will end.

Yesterday, but still current. My routers been going for some time. It's a cheap Ryobi, over 15 years old. But when I was making a hand over hand transition and didn't keep the body firm against the bit well enough. Doesn't help I was cutting more in one pass than I should have. Sure enough it caught and blew up. Body is toast and the axis on the router wobbles too much now....
Guess I gotta start over. Thankful for no injuries, but God damn am I pissed! Ruined!t The one thing I wanted to finish before getting called back to work...

Thanks for asking. The short of it is, I do whatever makes the thing MY thing. I can never leave a wagon in factory-dictated shape. So:
- Some things I've built entirely from scratch. This may be wood, or styrene (a form of plastic).
- Some are kits, but I never build them the way they're meant. I simplify, complicate, mess up, enhance, whatever. The postal van on the right in the pic is a kit build.
- Factory models get equally bashed about. On the left, you see part of a loco I took apart. The loco will finally come together and be unrecognizable.
It looks like he's using a Bergantino class D amp...? What's with the other head that's directly on top of the cab?
They did a rig rundown recently, and he mentioned it...
Basically said he had a couple issues with his tube head (V4 or V4B), and was tired of lugging it around. So he's been using the Berg live since everything goes through a PA anyway. He's just using it for stage volume/monitoring and warms it up a bit with a LBA overdrive.

Haha. I own both, so I'm firmly in the middle. The "that's too heavy" voices are more plentiful than their counterparts on TB, but both ends of the extreme are irrationally impassioned about the subject from what I've seen. I only care if it sounds good. In this case, I find it interesting that he used the Berg when the V4 is right under it. Whatever his reasoning, his tone isn't suffering. I think the bass and overall mix on these sessions sounds killer...
