Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

The guitar player I jam with doesn't have the high E string on his guitar because he doesn't like the sound of it (and I'm not complaining because I like him and the music he makes), which led to an amusing situation yesterday: I had more strings on my bass than he had on his guitar.
My drummer, a healthy, fit 35 years old guy, had both of the Pfizer vaccine. The first shot gave him fever and sore arm and back, and after the second he came to reharsal and threw up twice
Had to go home 
My stepfather, 70 years old, with diabetes and 2 coronary stent, got the same vaccine and was fresh as a daisy

I got both doses of the pfizer through work a few months back and was a touch tired with a sore arm for about 24hrs.
I have a gov job so that is how I was able to get it a little early.
I got both my Moderna shots. 1st one just seemed to make my arm sore slightly longer, but nothing bad by any stretch. The second one absolutely destroyed me the next day. I couldn't do anything, just felt like sleeping and had body aches all day. I'm NEVER sick, so this is just weird for me. Not terrible considering what it could be, but not anywhere near my normal. I woke up the next day like nothing ever happened.
The scariest part of being vaccinated for me was just getting the first shot. The man gave me the shot, I watched the needle enter my arm, and then the needle was gone. The syringe was pulled out and there was no needle attached. The man said "Uh-oh" and grabbed a cotton swab. I thought to myself - "Is there a needle stuck in my arm? How will a cotton swab help? And why would he say uh-oh?" So I stayed calm on the outside, freaked out on the inside, and asked the guy, "Does the needle retract?" He said "Yes, but you're bleeding a little." I was freaking out for a bit there, let me tell you.

same here. For now it's only 70+ and medical staff I believe. Estimated is to have everybody done by end of June. I'm healthy and young(-ish), so I'm guessing end of June is my time to get shotLucky you, guys... Here things are going slooooooow as a doom metal song
In Poland first went seniors and essential personnel, then teachers (my wife got her shot in March), now 50+ people are being vaccinated. I've got my shot scheduled for late May. It's quite a chaos, though.
I've only been to two European countries, and Poland is one of them. I liked it and really want to get back some day. Bialowieza Park is particularly memorable. Anyway...sorry for the digression.
