Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Nope were playing new tunes. One cover tune we are playing is Your Mistake by Agnostic Front. Drummer brewed up some good riffs and were polishing the song up now. Another song is in the wings, so were on a roll to have 45 or 50 min of material soon. I can finally see some daylight on my tone quest. Yesterday was spot on improvement. I was not tripping out about tone and was able to focus on playing, felt good.

I was just teasing, thought you might be building street cred at that practice space. Agnostic takes me way back! Congrats on the Tonal Quest.

All good, I'm all about early ST. Aside from live when Mike M. would preach between each song. Some early members have been playing out here lately as Lucidal. Haven’t seen them play yet but gets good reviews from friends that have.
I can't tell you how much of a relief it is dialing this rig in.

Any of you all using Joyo Ultimate Drives like it better before fuzz than after fuzz. I was pushing my Bluebeard into it and meh, not so much.

Can you tell me differences in the última and daddy-o on bass, guitar too if you know. And I put my daddy-o before the fabtone, preference over the opposite as well. The fabtone has great low end so If I'm using it I don't want to lose it.

Beer, weed, tunes and the soft glow of tubes....almost the weekend.
