For sure! I actually have our account with them already setup. Our guitarist does the mixing and "mastering" for our EPs. So it's just a matter of having that wrapped and then we'll start putting it all up...

Like I can dig some TOOL but only if I never read anything their true believers post online. Despite Danny Carey being a god, no, Tool is not the most technical most elaborately and intricately written music in the history of the universe with lyrics that will bless you with deep gnosis when your feeble mind finally grasps their esoteric majesty.

They are just HELMET if Helmet took DMT.

But hey, Tool might be the only band to get more mileage out of 0--10--12 than Sleep. Lol.

I have never ever had a light cab before until today. Saw this come up local for VERY cheap and couldn't pass it up. Schroder 1212L. Easy 35lb to carry, 800w, sounds great.

I run a Schroeder as well, a 212210, that has no right to be as light as it is for a 4-speaker cab. They are really underrated, assuming one can get past the aesthetics on the earlier yellow-font graphics.

This is basically how I have kept my chops up since I restarted college while working full-time a few years back. I take a bass to work with my preamp/MI/IR loader and plug my MP3 player/IPhone into the aux input. Then I play songs in random and try to learn whatever song comes up during my break time.

Came in and nailed what we wanted him to learn, and the real one for me was when we actually got through our 11 minute monster without a train wreck that he had only heard a couple of times. Or maybe it was that little unplanned jam on Dragonaut… but the point is, Interference lives again!

I haven’t posted on here in a while but everything is good. The holidays were low key and chill. I got tired of lugging my big board back and forth to practice to I made a baby board. My challenge was to spend 0 dollars and only use things I could find in my house. I used an IKEA cutting board that I painted with Duratex paint I had leftover from my cabinet restoration. Old small messenger bag and some feet from junk in the basement. Powered by a one spot and a power cable going from the tuner’s power out. I might have mentioned it before but I did the ODB3 mods to this from Brian Wampler’s book and it went from the worst bass pedal I have ever played to my current favorite.

I was wondering people’s thoughts on multi-amping in the real world. I’ve been doing it in our practice space for a while and like the sound and separation but wondering if it’s going to be better than sending a mixed signal to a single amp.

My chain gets split by a Hotone volume/wah with the wah going to the guitar amp after an HPF. I also have an American Sound and a Sonicake IR pedal for when we go ampless at a couple small places we play. I use the tuner out from the wah for the bass amp signal which goes through a phaser and sansamp. I have a Fearful 212 which is pretty close to full range so I wouldn’t be limited by that.

I’m trying to figure out if the extra amp and some of the complexity is going to translate to a tangible benefit in your average live setting.

I don't gig so take this with a grain of salt but I'd say yes if you have different enough signal chains and cabs and no if your amps and cabs don't colour your tone much or if they're the same. For recording I use a Bass Fly Rig on the lows and Dapper Indie for the highs and it still sounds good but there's a certain amount of space and presence missing vs through my full rig.
