Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

There are some very quick sweeps past both pedalboards here, in the intro and during the solo, but the short attention span editing makes it difficult to see, and the shot angles, even when I’d freeze them, are no help either..
Maybe you’ll have better luck
Thx, I tried several videos (including this one). All I could figure out for sure is the bassist has a Dunlap Bass Wah. Lol.
I have been using the Pharaoh for close to 10 years now, but I finally retired it after recording my bands latest album. Currently using the wren and cuff fade font but I also own a tall font russian. Also tried the dba bass war for a little bit, but didn’t quite sound great. I’m still deciding which one will stay. Anyone using the fade font?
Never heard of it, but the ad copy seems to say that the Fade Font and Tall Font are on opposite ends of the spectrum. What made you give up the Pharaoh? I LOVE the Pharaoh Supreme, but if you're wanting something different, the Fade Font seems to lean that way of the options you've presented. It sounds like the Pharaoh and Tall Font would be somewhat similar (I'm sure someone here has 1st hand knowledge, but not me!) in that they're both relatively low gain with lots of bottom end. The Fade Font seems closer to my CMC Bubble Font, which is a bit grittier and more aggressive than my CMC Tall Font.
And if you really like the Pharaoh, have you tried the Priestess? I got one a while ago, after also loving the Pharaoh for about a decade. The Priestess has unseated the Pharaoh. More gain, still plenty of lows, cuts through with mids. An excellent companion to the Pharaoh, and different enough to justify having both if you want.

Did you all bounce back OK? It’s not fun, I was on the verge of it once with a lung infection after sweeping up a basement with decades-old spores(without a mask). Then, covid happened.
Huge fan of them! I'm not sure what gear they are using either but I'd be surprised if the bassist isn't occasionally on this thread, if not he should be!

Got a semi-private show at my drummer's motorcycle shop tonight. Having a bit of a birthday party for me with an old friend's band. My drummer went and got a surprisingly big light set up for the show, so it should be interesting. I may have some video later on. Definitely some pictures.

glendale narrows, between los feliz and the 2, there was an osprey there about two weeks ago
Yeah, that’s what I figured, lots of vegetation down there, plus with the zoo and Griffith Park to the west, it’s something of a green zone.
Rewrite that in rhyme, and you have the lyrics for a stoner rock song.

Good luck with the photo hunt! I just exercised for half an hour or so. Been trying to do that a minimum of 3 times a week. Been successful the past 2 weeks, now to start cutting back on the unhealthy food and/or portion sizes. Plantar fasciitis this past year kicked my butt - I couldn't do much of anything active, and the weight needs to get back under control. Glad the PF seems to be 95% gone at this point.
Somehow somebody got a moment of me looking like a fat rock god last night. I almost feel…cool.
