We did the same thing with our new record. We would have had the vinyl sooner but we ran into some delays getting the artwork finalized.

All the splits I've ever been a part of have come about because the bands involved were friends.
Speaking of vinyl, the new record should be here in the next 5-10 days. We'll be shipping the European orders first followed shortly by US and Canada. and thanks to everyone here that ordered, much appreciated!
Sartori, they're like > $2,000 new. At that price, you're definitely paying for the branding/marketing because that's outrageous for what it is. Still, for a big enough Orange fanboy, $1,300 for an OBC810 is a damn good deal b/c they're difficult to find used. If I'd seen that listing six months ago, I'd've gotten it.
Finally had some time this afternoon to jam with the F800 + 3620. What a great rig: loads of volume and low end. I scored a cheap Peavey badge to affix to the cab, so I'm fully branded. I plan to take it out for my 7/18 & 7/19 MDT shows; I'll be sharing with two other bassists so I'll have plenty of muscle to get the beast loaded in and out. 
At 7:50pm central time I finished the last final exam I might ever take.

On the great knob debate...
I'm generally in the fewer is better camp. My bass only has a volume on the front. There is a tone pot but it is recessed on the back of the bass and you use a pick or your nail to turn it. I found my sweet spot and never move it. I like only one P pickup on my basses too for the most part. P/J is OK too if it's an older bass like my '86 Destroyer.
My Firebass heads have all kinds of knobs and a crossover I don't use. The knobs all have their purpose but one particular knob, the "conture" knob stays all the way off because it sucks. Too bad it is not fuzz or something useful. My Rat King has too many knobs but I do love the sound of it although I'm GASsing for a Blower Box. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with a Diamond compressor which is one of the simpler ones I have researched.
In other news...
Some POS tried to Western Union themselves $275.00 on one of my credit cards. I took care of it but I'm still pissed off. Good thing I check my bank and credit cards every day. Now that card is in a bunch of little pieces and a new one is on the way. I got zero liability fraud protection so I'm good.

I don't think we really have any other band friends, except Abstracter and Awake the Plague, both of whom at least one of our people is in.
That is incredibly expensive.
What kind of speakers are in it? Is it sealed/ported? Divided internally or no?
Part of it, too, is that if something doesn't have many ways to change the tone, it it needs to have a damn good baked in sound.
I prefer two pickup basses, mostly to be able to switch to a much different sound instantly. Which is why Jazz Basses kinda are a let down for me, as they don't have a pickup switch.
I could probably do without tone knobs on basses. Maybe just put a resistor at that spot to simulate a tone knob turned up all the way.
Another thing with features and knobs is whether they can just be turned off and disregarded. Like switchable graphic EQs I don't mind, because you can just leave it off. It's only really an issue to me when there's no way to bypass it and it's not a feature I want.

Not really. I do everything online so I'm sure that probably had something to do with it. I rarely use that card in stores. They said they would investigate and contact me with their findings. I'm pretty eager to know myself. That particular card has all my recurring payments on it like netflix and my phone so it could be anything. Now when I get my new card I have to go to all those websites and update my info. Always something man...
