Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

HI-TONE HT200 DR :cautious: Still deciding if I want to spend that much.

Same. Seriously, I probably shouldn't drop that sort of cash/don't need another amp, but since when have amps ever been about "need"? Plus, the guy said he could easily build in a slave out and at some later point build a slave head, so...

Just have rice and beans on hand then. "Hey you making food?" "Yeah rice and beans."

Yesterday I let him have a tortilla.

My food is kinda particular I mostly eat veggies and meat so the key I'm finding is buy meat in a bulk buy and freeze in ziplocs to individual portions. That way it's like unless I'm planning to cook for people it's painfully obvious this is a solo operation intended for a later time.

I bring out the raw broccoli and offer it as no one but me would eat it lol.

Because Texas....

I'd never had someone offer me a firearm before. I'm really new to them tbh, but I paid $40 for the strat and listed it for $100. Figure there's a story in this as well.

As for cooking, a $13 pork shoulder with some Goya mojo sauce in a crock pot on low 8 hours. Eat all wet, or I strain all the cooking liquid and shred the pork and put it away. I then refrigerate the liquid until the fat rises to the top and hardens, then save the lard puck and when I'm hungry throw a bit of lard and shredded pork in the pan. Eat that crispy goodness with a sliced and fried plantain or rice and some thin sliced raw cabbage and onion with lime juice. Will last me all week.

Be wary of your state laws on gun transfers. In PA, you can transfer a long gun (rifle or shotgun) from person to person for cash with no overhead, registration, background check, etc. But for handguns, you need to do the transfer through a FFL (any gun store) for a $30-$50 fee, and they run background check and archive the record of the sale and transfer to keep it legal.

No idea what Texas laws are but I'm sure its easy peasy to find out.

Daaaaaaaaaamn that sounds good. As someone who just has not put in the time to learn how to cook much beyond spaghetti, potatoes and basic meat, my diet for the moment is largely apples, almonds, string cheese and hard boiled eggs.
