Yeah, we always had Ford trucks at work and a few of them were lemons. That was 10+ years ago though, all their new stuff is pretty nice. One of my brothers in law works in the service department at a Ford dealer and helped hook us up with my wife's car lightly used for a good price. He's also one of those handy guys that buys cars, fixes them up and flips them. Always good to have someone like that in the family tree.

I've driven ford trucks for work for the last 10 years. F350 turbo diesels are junk (way to much computer stuff) and I get better gas mileage out of the v8 than the Eco boost v6 (and the Eco boost lags before you get power while the turbos get going) but their v8 half tons have been good to me.
I can stand to drive cars anymore. They are for midgets.

Wagons are the shvt. Love my Ford Focus wagon. But its on the smaller side and we just have to much shvt for one trip, so I need to get a trailer hitch, and just rent a small u haul for cabs. Drums and amps and people in the DOOM wagon.

No I'm 6'2" and never have enough room in a car.
And I can't fit a deer carcass or 810 in a car.

Ha didn't think so.

I'd get a truck maybe someday I'm just 6' but the Honda accord was far too short in the drivers chair. Felt like Dino about to pop his head through the roof trying them. Ford fiesta was cool but had no spare tire, just a patch kit which seemed like a terrible choice in things to not provide with the car. Too bad the ford ranger is discontinued...

I'd actually never been to karaoke before and I didn't go on stage either. But I'm pretty sure I've seen and done all I need to.

I used to cruise around in a F750 dump truck when I worked for the township. That thing was pretty cool.

Both of our cars are hatch back, one Hyundai accent that can fit my whole rig and a dodge caliber which is a four door.

Used to drive a big international diesel box truck for work when i was in the warehouse. Still drive it occasionaly when the owner of the company buys something big on ebay. I've had to go to Chicago and Milwaukee in the last six months.

Ultimate gear hauler: E 350 extended cab, but someone else has to cover the gas bill.

And that's why it's not really the ultimate gear hauler. Its engine is way overkill for music equipment.

You don't need something with a ton of power and torque for musical equipment. Amps and cabs, though they're heavy for us to carry around, aren't actually that heavy.

Me hauling my and my guitarist's rigs basically equates to me driving with three passengers in terms of space.

If you can't fit an 810 in a station wagon or a hatchback, no offense, but you suck at cab tetris.

My friend regularly used to haul his SVT rig around in a tiny hyundai sedan.
